Here is a question that I can't seem to have aswered. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about three months now, and every time I'm fertile and we have intercourse, I end up with a Urinary Tract Infection. Even though I urinate after sex, drink plenty of water and even wipe "Front to Back", I still get one. What my worry is that a UTI could be what is preventing me from becoming pregnant, by affecting my ovulation, or even causing my egg not to settle in uterus, sorrta like a miscarriage. If any one could shed some light on this subject I would really appericate it :-)
A UTI will not prevent you from conceiving or ovulating. There are many pregnancy friendly antibiotics that your doctor can prescribe. Make sure you tell your doctor that you are trying to conceive just in case you are pregnant that month while you have the UTI.
