thought i'd make my own thread about this as well just to see which gets answered first

not thinking in the heat of the moment today we went back to vaginal sex after having brief anal sex. we talked about this after realizing it was probably a stupid decision. im concerned for her health and well being. we are both completely clean of STI's and STD's. so thats not a concern.

what things should we look out for in the next few days?

what are the possible infections that can occur?
can they all be treated?

if no symptoms appear should we still go to the doctor?

as the male, is there any sort of infection i can get from this?

answers to all these questions asap would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
If you are both squeaky clean and free from all STD's, that shouldn't be a concern but...there is a lot of bacteria in the rectum. Think of what comes out of there. By all accounts our rectums are technically not supposed to be used for sexual purposes. (but they are)
A bacterial infection is possible for her, you probably don't have to much to worry about. If she notices any kind of unusual discharge, odor, or burning when she pees, she should contact her Doctor. Give it a little bit tho, i wouldn't go running off to the the Doctor just yet.
In the heat of the moment, as you put it, it is hard to get control but if you want to go from vaginal to anal, which is cool, put the breaks on for a moment and wash your penis before you do.

I wouldn't advise doing anal -> vagina. Vagina -> anal is fine though. Too much bacteria in the ass, I wouldn't want to risk it. It wouldn't be fun. You can always use a condom while in her ass then just take it off real quick before you go in the vagina.

I would suggest douching or having a douch bottle on hand incase this was to happen again in the heat of the moment, the sooner she cleans in there the less chance of infection!
