Ah, the hated bumps. I have bumps. When I shave, I get little red bumps--irritation, ingrown hairs, etc. NOTHING, no meds, nothing, has stopped them yet. They feel like glass needles if I rub my skin the wrong way (which is ANNOYING when masturbating or getting off with the bf). I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas?
And no, I don't have an STD. I am monogamous with my boy, and neither of us has had any sexual interaction before, and all we've done is hand stuff. No, we haven't gone ass-to-vag, haven't had him eat me out, haven't gotten dirt stuck anywhere, etc. So suggestions along this vein can be avoided (so you don't waste your time, not because I'm a b***h, I promise. Which isn't to say that I'm not, but...I'm trying. ^_^), and suggestions along a new vein would be appreciated.

I'm a guy, but shaving is about the same between the two sexes I would imagine.
When i shave I 1) ALWAYS take a nice hot bath, and soak for a while to soften the hairs and help bring them up so when I shave them, they arent hard to shave. 2) Always use a fresh razor, at least 3 blades. I like my Fusion; five blades of pube slashing fury! 3) use shaving cream SPECIFICALLY for sensitive skin.
Afterwards I use lotion down there, and its all good to go.

Pull the vagina taut, so its stretched and shave it... it pulls the hairs out more shaving deeper and making it smooth.
I've been shaving over 1yr and a half now and I've just about got it sussed as we know many do it but no one seems to want to share how they do it. But knowing I struggled I thought I'd let people in on my secrets.(remove as much hair as possible first with scissors or a trimmer if your not allready shaved!) First, soak in the bath for 10 mins or so, thn apply conditioner to the pubic bone area (not inside the labia!), thn lower slowly bk into the bath for 2 mins or so. wash it off then apply GENTLE/SENSITIVE shaving foam with an exfoliation mit! (preps and exfoliates in 1!). Then take a decent new headed shaver (wilkinson sword quattro recomended) and shave your pubic bone starting with the central strip from your clit towards ur belly button. then towards ur leg creases on the diagonal until u have created a semi circle shape all the way around ur pubic bone. rinse the blade off every 3 strokes maximum and avoid more thn 2 strokes on the same spot. Then take the rasor from your bum along the side of ur leg to the top of ur crease, theres always some sneaky pubes hidding there! Next, the tricky bit. The labia: Stetch one side out as far as possible then shave from the centre to you leg crease. only 1 stroke per patch. repeat on the other side. then take hold of half way betwwen the centre and your leg crease and pull taught. then shave from the top (by ur clit) to the bottom (vagina hole) in 1 stroke and then bottom to top in 1 stroke. repeat on the other side. then finish it off with a semi-circular shave motion right at the top by ur clit to prevent tht bit having stubble. by now the pubic bone area may be spotting a bit with blood. dont worry tht happens to me 1/3 times its normal. If you want to shave your gooch hair too (bum hole hair!) then shave from your bum hole outwards holding your bum cheek out (very fiddly!). rinse of thoroughly and inside the labia too! then get out the bath and patt it dry with a clean towel. Apply VEET GENTLE FINISHING CREAM (only comes in a set with the hair removal cream atm but it still only £6) to the pubic bone area and with 1 finger dwn the creases of ur legs. not inside the labia! Then your set for the day! That may seem long but it now only takes me 3-5 mins to do! I shave every other day to keep it smooth but it all depends on how fast your hair grows! Have fun!! Ohh and wash your rasor after with antibacterial face wash soap and use a new rasor head every 2 weeks!! Good luck! Hope that helps
