im 61 and just in the past few months I've been having heavy bleeding and bad cramps .and had a ultrasonic done and results came back normal .So Im not sure whats going on Im concerned
Hi there - I had mine checked out through the same procedure and came back fine too-see my original post. Looks like the thinning of the vaginal walls were causing mine and now on vagifem which appears to be working. Did they also do a hysteroscopy as well for you? I'm presuming if not they are happy with what they saw with the ultrasound they wouldn't usually move on to this. What did they say was the cause of your bleeding? It's worrying I know, but apparently the vast majority of post menopausal bleeding is usually caused by non serious events. That made me feel better.....
I'm 59 and haven't had a period since 50. I did have an episode of brown discharge about 5 years ago. I know i have atrophy because doctor said so and wanted me to go on hormones. I refused and now today I noticed brown spots in my underwear. I checked up in there and nothing else is evident. I don't want to have unnecessary invasive testing. I read that brown spotting could be from the atrophy.

Sounds like a good idea to keep track. Doc's would like that as well.
hey I have not had a period in 10 years but lately I have had this bloody discharge, went to dr. bladder infection did pap smear came back normal but still having a bloody discharge like my vag is falling out dr. said bladder not falling so don't know whats going on thanks
I am 52 and this is the second time I woke up with brown all over my pants. Menopause maybe? I'm assuming it's old blood.
