Could anyone please get in touch with me to talk about your experience and the side effects of your varicocele embolisation after time has passed? I am about to go in for a varicocele embolisation in 2 weeks and would very much appreciate what I should expect.

Can someone tell me about the pain after varicocele embolization? Not during the operation but after it. Would I be normal like before? I mean like before when I didn't have varicocele. Thank you very much.
I just had mine last week but I really can't tell the difference
Did the Veracoccele disappear r u still have it but smaller
can you please provide your contact number so that I may speak to you? I need help
Where do you live
We're did you do your treatment?
I've lived with Varicocele pain since I was 16 years old. I had the surgery when I was 22 years old. Didnt do anything and was a long recovery with two nice scars. Then when I was 30 years old I had the Vericocele Embolization. The doc couldnt find the varicocele on the right side so he just embolized the left side. Finally something took the pain away. Its been 5 years since I had the embolization. The pain comes back for a few days on my left testicals if I do any type of weight lifting are super hard workouts. Fitness is my life and I cant stand this. So, I recently had another ultrasound and I have a 2grade varicocele. So my varicocele came back. Im looking to go back and have a 2nd embolization. I wish there was a 100% cure for this. I hate it!! But from my years of dealing with this, best results to releive the pain was from the Embolization. If I'm not working out really hard I dont have day to day pain like I use to have.
Had it done 3 years ago. Definitely fixed the varicocele but is uncomfortable and often painful. Also have occasional erectile dysfunction.
I had it done in Nov 2013. Very low sperm count, very low mobilization. Tried concieving for 4 years before. 90 days after the surgery we concieved our first child. 20 months after that we conceived our 2nd due this April. Never got my sperm count numbers retested but the proof is in the result. I never had any pain with the coil and have had no issues. I would recommend it to anyone. It changes my life
Hey. Great read! I had my embisation procedure yesterday on the NHS. Recovery is going well...no pain (a little tenderness in the left side of my stomach just). He showed me the image of the coils after which was pretty cool.
It was a technical success. However, my varicocele is still there and doesnt seem any smaller at all. Does it take a while for it to dimish/dissappear? I was under the impression is happened immediately considering there was no more blood flor.
Thanks
J

Hi, I just wanted to come on here and state that my husband had a varicocele embolization a little over a year ago. His count has improved from 3 mil to 40mil in 10 months.
Hey man I'm literally in the same position as you. Just got mine done yesterday and I'm wondering has it improved for you in the past two weeks?
I had my second Varicosele Embolization. Glad I did it. I feel a lot better now.
