Hi , im 15 and im really struggling to lose weight , im about 12st 6lbs and i really want to loose adleast a stone. My height is 5ft 10inches.
I have always been a chubby kid but i think its time that i change my life around and start toning my body up with muscle.
I have asthma and i find it hard to go longer distances in running , so when i go the gym in school i dont go on the treadmills. I just stay on the weights , the reason i stay on the weights is , everyone says its good for my breathing.
I have a boxing bag which i use every so often but im determined to start using it again it could help me get a bit more strength.
My biggest problem is my food . My parents buy alot of pizzas , burgers , chips etc.. And a small amount of fruit , and i think this is what has been stopping me losing weight the large amount of fatty foods and sugar drinks. But i was watching tv and PAUL MC`KENNA came on and he said you can eat what you want and still loose weight , he said also eat slow and enjoy your food. But i think in order to do that i think i need to do alot more execise.

I was a chubby too until I was 12 years old but since then i started to loose weight. When i became 13, because i started getting taller my weight became steady but I was loosing fat. When I was 14, I went to the doctor and he told me that I was 2-3 pounds less underweight. If you want to loose weight and keep it for a life, in my opinion you have to loose it slowly. First of all you have to talk to your parents and tell them that you want their help. They should reduce the amount of junk food they bring at home and increase the amount of healthy food. You don't really need much exercise to loose weight, only 2-3 hours per week. Also, the most important thing is to think before you eat and eat only if your hungry not because you want to eat.
