Hi all

i've always been pretty skinny but while being sick a few weeks I lost 6,5 lbs again. So my doc advised me last week to eat 3 full "healthy" meals a day (I cook myself ).

Yesterday I went swimming after diner with a few friends. We also had a little snack there. After that snack they started cracking jokes because of my belly bulging out far! Back at home I looked at my self at the mirror and it's really weird. I really don't feel like going to swim again with my body shape!:$

I simply don't know and I would appreciate any tips or help.

Men tend to gain fat around their abdomen first and lose internal fat first. So, while you lost the weight all over as you try to put it back on it is basically going to your waste.

Despite what the doctor said, just eat normally. Your body distributes fat the way it wants. There is no need to pour on the calories and continue with your swimming/exercise.

Hi Foboy! You should definitely listen to medic-dan and continue with your swimming. Consuming less food loaded with sugar will also help you to lose tummy fat. Strengthening your abdominal muscles won’t help you to get rid of belly fat like magic. You could work out your shoulders, pectorals, back, and arms to help create a more shapely “V” figure, which will help reduce the appearance of your belly. A walk after a big meal or enjoying a dessert is never a bad idea. My boyfriend has exactly the same belly fat problem, but we're not worried about it. I even find it cute XD
