It's a year later... did you find a new girlfriend? You seem really nice. I hope so.

Had the same symptom, saw internist, cardiologist AND Gastro Doc. NO one knew what it was. Woke up one night in horrific pain, ended up in ER and 2 days later had Gall Bladder remove. NO more fluttering after a year of nightly fluttering. Surgeon said it is a symptom of gall bladder problems.

I have it to. I went to my Dr today. The look on his face wheni told him it was priceless. Like I was a hypochondriac.
It is seriously irritating. He's send me for an ultrasound. I have no uterus so it can't be I'm pregnant
If I find this page again I'll let you know what happens

that is because it is gas, an ultra sound will not show gas....you need to burp and fart your gas out or take gasgone, seriously, gas is the culprit.

I believe we are dealing with some sort of evasive parasite. Try going to your local health food store to purchase a small bag of clear empty pill capsules. Go home and cap up four or five capsules with sea salt or the pink Himalayan salt. Take four or five on an empty/semi-empty stomach. When you feel the reaction to the sea salt let me know what you think.????

Leighton, I wonder if you ever got answers now that it's a year later...I hope so. I am currently suffering from this which is why I am reading this board. Many of the people on here seem to be of an age where you'd think we'd have experienced this before if it's as simple as gas or constipation...But it does feel related to that because I am a regular magnesium supplementer and had to buy a new supply of a lesser mg...Only thing I can really I.d. as possibly related. If I don't have enough magnesium in my diet I get backed up big time...I just never remember this sensation other that with pregnancy. Strange.

That is exactly what I am thinking and hoping HOWEVER how is it that many of us here, at our ages, haven't had this experience BEFORE now if it is that simple? Suddenly gas has a whole new effect on folks at ages 45, 48, and 50? Guess it could be...We do change a lot in these pre Golden years LOL

I am the one stating it is gas and constipation related. Now that i am no longer constipated I do not have the gas build up and the fluttering is gone as a result.
I eat 6 prunes a day and take a supplement named "good belly", it has billions of live cultures and has finally cured my issue.
Of course there are other products other than good belly, auctiva works but stopped working for me after a couple of years, now the good belly drink, which I take once a day and it is delicious, works great possibly due to the newly delivered probiotics.
Best of luck to everyone.
To me this is common sense, some people have mentioned they have a live thing crawling around in their bellies, I will have to say they don't have to worry about the Lough Ness Monster in their bellies, just a case of gas from constipation.
