I'm a healthy and fit male in my 40s with near identical symptoms. Strange bubbling sensation and almost always on the left side just below my rib cage. For me, it's almost always right there. No other issue except for somewhat loose bowel movements lately which are very unusual for me. Actually, more like bizarre after going over a year without a single case of diarrhea or anything even close. Now, it's somewhat loose each time. Nothing crazy, just somewhat loose. Not normal for me at all.
About 6 weeks ago, I had a bad reaction to a frozen pizza which just did not taste right. It wasn't bad, just different with sort of a synthetic or chemical taste. I ate it anyway and ended up with diarrhea and mild abdominal pain. No nausea, just diarrhea and mild pain. I recovered in a day or so but not 100%. That's when my issue started. Now, I have the wierd bubbling sensation on my left side just below my rib cage (sometimes two or three inches lower) several times each day and somewhat loose bowel movements each time.
I noticed another person mentioned that their intestines had moved out of place. I wonder if that could be part of my problem also. I have been doing some new ab exercises lately. More than usual. Maybe that's related. Maybe not I just thought I'd throw it in to see if it helps solve the puzzle.
Except for the wierd sensation and loose bowel movements, I'm fine. No nausea and my strength and energy are both unchanged.

Ok, it's been 8 days since my last entry. My symptoms were moderate, annoying and worrisome until early today. Now, they are just about gone. I spent several more days doing research and finally decided to give diet changes and fasting a try.
About 5 or 6 days ago, I tried cutting my buttery and greasy foods to zero. My diet was already relatively healthy with junk only in moderation but I pretty much cut out all fried foods, deserts and sodas 5 or 6 days ago. All of it. I went 2 or 3 days eating nothing but health food with plain water or light calorie sports drinks watered down for extra measure. No junk at all. This helped but not enough. The symptoms were still there. Better but still there.
Then 3 days ago, I stopped eating in order to give my inflamed intestines a rest. I had absolutely no food for 36 hours and nothing to drink but lots of water and watered down light calorie sports drinks. I didn't like the constant hunger but I stuck with it for a full 36 hours. It gave me a headache and reduced my energy level but the wierd abdominal symptoms faded drastically. They were pretty much gone.
Yesterday, after a full 36 hours with no food, I had two slices of pizza with light cheese and light sauce. Contrary to popular belief, pizza in moderation is actually good for you. Cheese is good for you unless you eat too much of it. A few hours later, I had 4 slices of wheat bread. This morning, I had a few more slices of wheat bread and a banana for breakfast, a plain lean sliced steak sandwich for lunch and another for dinner. I would have prefered chicken or salmon but I didn't have any. Nothing but watered down light calorie sports drinks today. No soda. It's been digesting very nicely.
It's now, 11PM and I feel great. Pretty close to 100% with virtually no hint of discomfort. I feel like a healthy 25 year old again. Plenty of energy for my daily workout (I usually do them at night). I did have a light bowel movement today and it was normal. Small but otherwise perfect.
I can't legally give any of you advice but I can tell you what I'm doing from now on. I'm eating a few slices of wheat bread and a banana just about every day, I'm keeping my greasy, cheesy and sweet food intake very low (chicken and salmon are my favorite meats), and I'm making watered down (50/50) light calorie sports drinks my drink of choice. Otherwise, I will drink skim milk or plain water. Soda will be on occasion only.
I'm not giving up pizza but I will get them with light cheese and light sauce from now on. I'm not giving up desert foods either but I will cut them to one small serving every 2 or 3 days max.
Last but not least, I'm going one full day per week with no food. Nothing but watered down light calorie sports drinks or plain water on my fasting days.
By the way, when I was doing research on fasting, I did learn that if you take a laxative on a totally empty stomach, it may cause your appendix to burst.

I have many of these same symptoms and think(im not for sure) I have a Hiatial Hernia. I am 34 years old and not in the best shape. I think simply controlling my diet better and doing more stretching & exercise should eliminate this problem. Basically, best case scenario the upper part of my stomach goes back to its proper place. As always best to see a doctor instead of internet.

I've been having the exact same symptoms for over 2 weeks now, intermittently. The best way I can describe it feels like baby kicks or movements. They remind me of being pregnant and there's no chance of that being the case. I've been searching the web looking for some type of reasoning but not having much success.

I'm 60 and I had this a few years ago. I noticed it completely left after I did colonics, and deep liver gall bladder flushes described in the book Timeless Secrets of Health and Rejuvenation. Hope this helps someone here.
