Hello there. There is one huge problem in my life which I can't control. I have problems with my weight, with my body and I am not satisfied with it. The main problems are social networks that really ruined me because I am looking those photos where people look amazing and prefect and I start to hate my body because of it.
Well, that is not my question, that is how all started in my case, and now I am dealing with anorexia...So, I have a question for you - What can I do to reverse anorexia? Will that affect my health?
You seem to be aware of what is causing your problems in the first place, Guest, that is the first good step, now you need to get away from these things and you need to focus on your thoughts, you need to see which ones are good and which ones are bad, and you need to not pay any attention to the negative ones or they will gain power over you.
On the other had, since you are suffering from anorexia, you need a specialized team which will help you fight this, it is a team which consists of a doctor, psychologist, dietitian and a personal trainer.
Deni is right, fighting anorexia on your own is almost impossible, I would actually say impossible but nothing is this world is impossible, it is doable but I honestly don't think that you would make it on your own.
Like Deni said, you need a special team of people who are going to help you fight your anorexia. This cannot harm you, it is exactly the opposite, if you don't do anything about your anorexia, this condition can harm you more than you think, in the worst case scenario, you might die. So get a move on and do something about it.
First of all, since you realized that social networks are bad for you, you need to distance yourself from these things, you need to seek medical assistance and you are going to be okay.
I am curious, how do you know that you are suffering from anorexia? Because the way I see it, you certainly didn't hear this from your doctor because if you did, he would have told you about your treatment options, and you would probably already be on some sort of a treatment program. So you basically made a conclusion on your own here, am I right, that you are suffering from anorexia? That is not smart at all, you need to talk to a doctor in order to know for sure if you are suffering from anorexia and to get a proper treatment.
Hey. Thank you for all your support. I don't know, I think that I am aware of the dangers of this issue, but I think that I don't know that much about it whatsoever. I am reading all your advice and I need to ask myself - what the hell has happened to me? I used to be a normal girl, satisfied with my body, and very soon there it was - anorexia! People around me were telling me that something is not OK with me, but I was refusing to see that. After a while, when I saw it, I can tell you that I felt so miserable. And whatever I tried to do, I had no results. That is why I am scared that I won't have success about it at all.
At the beginning, you should seek for doctors help.
Trust me, there is no chance that you can fight anorexia alone, it doesn't matter in which stadium this anorexia is. And one of the "problem" is also because you should know that one doctor can't help you.
You really should seek for professional team to help you. They will find the proper treatment for you, they will make a menu for you.
Tell me, have you talked to someone about this? Did you even went to see the doctor asking him to help you about this, did you find anyone to create a menu for you?
Not at all! I need help because I think that I don't understand this anorexia issue that well, and that is why I am here. I haven't seen my doctor but that doesn't have to mean that I won't visit him. I was pretty sure that I can fight this problem alone, because in a couple of days after I noticed this issue, I saw some progress. I mean, I am eating better, I am aware of my problem and that is why I believed that I can deal with it. Now, I can see that I can't and thanks for telling me this. But what do you mean when you say - special team?
Ok, Ok. There is no need for tensions, OK? I was just asking you this question because I think that I didn't understand your question or your topic from the beginning.
That is why I needed to ask a several more questions. Anyway, when we say special team- that means that you need to have a good doctor who will monitor your progress. You need to have a nutritionist as well, who is going to help you create your menu and who is going to observe what you are eating. Also, you will need to have a help from psychologist who is going to give you physical help. Good luck.
