Hello out there. I have recently been to my doctor and he suggested me to go and visit a hematologist because I seem to be having a condition called high hemoglobin. So, what I would like to know is what does that mean? What is it supposed to indicate or is it an illness by itself? Every useful opinion is very welcome because I am kind of scared right now because I don't know what to do. I also don't know if this is serious and should I visit another doctor or run more tests. Should I visit hematologist?
Hey man. Well, you are in a tough spot. I honestly think that you should go and visit your hematologist because he will know what to do and also, what I would like to suggest you is to run a full body scan and x ray tests, just to make sure that everything else is okay. I have heard that high hemoglobin is often related to certain lung diseases so you should also check that out as well as your blood. High hemoglobin levels are pointers that you are suffering from diabetes type 1, and that is not something you should be unaware of.
I can totally relate with you and I can certainly agree with you that the worst option possible is to be unaware of a condition, and what I mean by that is that you know that there is something wrong with your hemoglobin and you just decide to sit and wait for it to pass by itself. Well, that is not going to happen, and what you should really do right now, or as soon as possible is to go to that hematologist you mentioned and get yourself examined. That should solve your mystery and I really hope it's nothing serious.
Listen up guys, this is not something to be ignored. High hemoglobin in your blood is a serious indicator that there is in fact something much more dangerous at stake than just that. For example, I have read that high hemoglobin can be a sign of kidney failure, and I mean kidney cancer and that happens because the cancer itself is blocking kidneys from doing their job. That can spread the cancer even more, and that is the downside because high hemoglobine might be a ticket for the cancer in the rest of your body. Check it out ASAP buddy.
Wow guys. I really thought that high hemoglobin wasn't a big deal at all and that it was something regular, a condition everyone is bound to have sometimes, but I was deeply mistaken because when I did some of my research on it, I found out that it is really just something like a pre-sick period, or something of that kind, it is something that comes before a disease, and could serve as an indicator of something much more dangerous. My advise to you is to visit an expert about this issue because that is the only way to know for certain what's botherin' you.
One of the conditions that I was unlucky to deal with was the liver cancer as well as one of lung diseases. My cousin Benny was really struggling with his liver cancer but was unaware of it until he ran a couple of blood tests, did a full body examination and it turned out to be high hemoglobine. The cancer was not to be seen at all, but when he saw that his hemoglobin was sky high, then he focused on abdomen only, and it showed that he had had cancer on his liver. Luckily for him, we were able to react in time.
Yes man. I always keep on tellin' people that they shouldn't avoid doctors and ignore the signs that something is wrong. guys, if you are feeling any kind of discomfort or something more, please, visit your doctor. You need to do that even if you are scared because in that way you would be able to prevent from experiencing something potentially life threatening such as kidney failure or kidney cancer, liver cancer and such illnesses which are hard to heal. The most important thing is to catch it on time, while it still hasn't spread and prevent yourself from going through hell.
From what I have seen so far, I was able to tell that high hemoglobin indicates that there is something wrong with your lungs. There are many chronic lung diseases which can occur because of high hemoglobin and also, which can cover it up because you think that you are suffering from a lung disease and in fact there is something totally new to you, going by undetected on that account. So, guys be careful. I know of a condition called pulminary hypertension in which your hemoglobin isn't bound to your red blood cells and it's practically roaming freely in your lungs so that's really dangerous.
you are certain no to take this for granted man. my dad has had his pains with hemoglobin and i would strongly advise you to go and see a hematologist as soon as possible because, the more you delay and wait, the more damage you are taking, day by day. for my dad high hemoglobin meant that he needed to quit smoking. the cigarettes were making his hemoglobine rise all the time. man, we were so afraid and now i'm glad that i forced him to go to examine himself because now that he quit smoking, he is a lot healthier
It is a wide spread condition and you shouldn't be messing with it without going to hematologist first. We may be talking about some conditions that are lethal to you, so I should advise you to visit someone as soon as possible about this issue. You could end up having diabetes type one or some lung disease, kidney or liver cancer.
There are cases when high hemoglobin acts as an indicator on aplastic anemia. you should check it out because aplastic anemia means that your bone marrow is not able to produce enough red blood cells and therefore elevation of hemoglobin occurs.
