Cold weather can be fun... As for the Whitish liquid? -- there are mucus glands in the rectum, but they don't normally produce a very noticeable amount when you have a bowel movement (sh*t). It could be fats...
First thing I will say is: Dietary changes from one country to the next may easily be the cause of the 'pain' AND the discharge in the bowels.
The pain you say you have is not specific ( upper left, lower right? etc) cramping? stabbing (sharp, dull).?
So I will generalize unless you give me more information.
Likely the casues are the different ingredients in the foods and how the are prepared. You're stomach and intestines may not me used to it. So when you travel and eat something, you get pain.
The water can have a major influence on your GI tract (from stomach to rectum).
So without further info. this is what I believe:
1-Food changes causing pain/cramping
2-Food and fats causing whitish mucus-like rectal discharge (body not used to the ingredients)
3-Water can/is causing cramps/pain and the bacteria in the local area that your body is not used to.
Your body will become used to the changes in time.
Try watching which foods you eat, which don't cause the pain as much.
Lastly, Bring water with you, and mix the wtare from home with the water from china over a 2 day period, it will make 'less' the transition pains.
It is well know that many parts of China have a lot of air pollution too, but I won't get into that.
Good luck, watch the diet and water intake for changes. And if you have more info. please let us know... Thanks
Fatty, fried foods using Oleo resin can also cause the rectal discharge.
