I agree with the last post. I get fed up for reading false info on a info page. I have been on subutex and suboxone for years. Yesterday I snorted 3 roxy 30's. About 4 hours later I snorted a half of a subutex an was feeling great still. I wish people would talk about the subutex more, I guess more people get the suboxone prescribed to them no days. Anyway. I think he is right. Suboxone then opiates...NOT GOOD...opiates then suboxone...GOOD. I mean that's what it's for

I've been taking Suboxone AND Xanax for approx 7 years now. Mixing the two is not at all dangerous. Like you said, why would your doctor prescribe the two? He/she would have let you know the dangers of mixing the two, if there were any. As for the person who posted about her son dying. That's really sad, and I'm really sorry to hear that, but I can guarantee you it wasn't due to mixing subs and Xanax. I've taken anywhere from 24mgs of subs a day and have tapered down to 1mg now, and have had days where I've only needed one (1mg) Xanax, and days where I had to take up to 4 a day (40mgs). Either way, I never had a single problem. No ailments at all. And my sister also takes the two together and has never had a problem. It is not dangerous, and don't let anyone allow you to believe otherwise. Ask any doctor or pharmacist. You'll see they say the same thing.
I take xanax with suboxin all the time.its what i use to keep my mind level when coming off opiatets.I've done it alot.up to 2-3 bars sometimes(8mg).never had a problem or reaction
your body will have to come off of the suboxone, just like coming off the great feeling that oxy gives you. I would say that suboxone has more of a mental come down then oxy does, but the body is not quit as bad with the withdrawals. also the suboxone withdrawals will take a longer time to start withdrawaling. but it will come if your on it for six weeks. hint if you are ever clean from everything for six weeks, never do anything again cause you have completely fixed your chemical balance.
K the person who said no u can take roxy oxy..then a sub and be fine obviously never did it...m***n....if u take a sub AFTER and not wait 12 to 14 hrs you will go into straight withdrawal ..y is this so hard ..if u take roxy oxy after a sub u will get high just have to take enough to break thru the amount of subs u took..have a nice day

Yes u can mix them. I have several times. U eomt get as high as u usually would it kind of blocks the affect a pain pill will give you. And yes it can kill you to mix nerve pills and suboxine
This is dangerously retarded. I've never commented on anything before but feel compelled to so that no one takes this person's advice. If you take suboxone (not subutex, which doesn't include naloxone) too soon (before WDs have begun) you will go into immediate withdrawal. This is a fact. Read the mfg's literature. The first post is spot on about how it binds to your receptors. Many confuse suboxone with subtext. Subutex doesn't include naloxone, which is the ingredient that stops the oxy cold on the receptors.
Don't listen to people while roxy want do anything heroin or even better if u can get some Oxymorphone is stronger than subxone and if it is not it should be cause I swear to god I took half a strip one day that same afternoons I started to WD from subxone a little so I took half a. 40 mg Oxymorphone and I thought I was going to OD I was so high till that day I had not been high off opiates for 3 years cause of subxone oxy hydros nothing ever got me high kept me from getting sick but never high till Oxymorphone came to me as a gift god was it the best day ever I don't condone opiates I hate them for what they have done for me but subxone has made my life better in one way and hell in health way and the thing about it is u don't even get anything from it so I share this to give people a break just don't be crazy control your habit their well always be a habit just learn to live with it and at least enjoy it some
