what happens if you take suboxone, then take oxycontin a little later the same day?

I did 90 days in rehab for Alcohol and Norco abuse. The treatment center put me on Suboxone for 8 days only. Starting at 3 pills X 3 times a day. Each day they would decrease the amount. 3,2,3 them 3,2,2 / 2,2,2 and so on. By the end of the eight days I was free and clear of all substances. I'll readily admit I could have become addicted to the suboxone just as easily. I felt great while I was on it, and got very edgy and irritable as it wore off. Counseling, Praying, AA Mtg's, and a good diet helped fill the gaps. I've been sober for over a year now.

I don't understand why Doctors have anyone on Suboxone for more than a week. It's just one high replacing another. Yes, it get's you off the more serious drugs but it has the potential to become the problem itself to the addictive personality.

Stop mixing it with other junk and get off of suboxone as well if you are serious about getting clean.

i am on subox and it saved my life i also take 2 mg of xanax a day for aniety condition and im fine and never was bothered but like somone said everybody is different

trust me, you would be wasting your money.  I took 300 MG trying after taking a sub and didnt feel a thing...

I have been on subboxin for a month for RSD pain Iam not on it for addiction. I am asking because I am hurting still to much so I need a pain killer wanting know if its safe. cant get in to see my pain doctor newyears and pharmisist just saids do not recomend it take more tylnol who cares how constipated you are. It is not the answer I have been on everything for this pain and nothing is helping. I never had any withdral before I started suboxin but my doctor tried me on it and told me to take nucynta as well I was so sick and dalirious that I would be scared for that to happen again. I need somthing strionger then tylenol and advill but what? if oxycontin will help to cope with the pain and I am not worried about addiction I am tempted to try it after reading I wont die. 

swim took their suboxone too early and went into the worst precipitated withdrawl ever....swim ears rang soo loudly and the restless legs and arms started right away this rapid detox from taking the sub too soon after swims last shot was so hard on swims body that they immediatly fell asleep even tho the withdrawls were full blown.

like everyobdy been sayn u will pretty much be wasting the oxy...BUT about the xanax you will be fine!..ive been taking 24 mgs of sub a day for over a year and i always take xanax while on my subs....and alot of my homeboys do to ...ive never seen a person have a problem from mixing the two

Your out of your mind I took Xanax by accident while on Suboxone and got so sick I threw up for almost 6 hours and had the shakes it was bad DO NOT MIX SUBOXONE & XANAX or OPI's

I took my first ever suboxone last night.  It was one of the 8mg strips.  My question is since this was my first time taking it (and this was about 14 hours ago) would it still be a complete waste of time to bang some oxy?  Someone mentioned earlier if you take 8mg of subs only once and havent been taking it regularly than you can still get a decent buzz off some oxys about 12-18 hours later.  Is this true?

if you dont have anything else in your system, you may get very sick feeling with sweats and vomiting. at least thats what happened to me but i may have taken too much for someone who didnt have a tolerance for anything. i did get really high at first and when i thought i was peaked it just kept getting more intense and then it was just scary and sick feeling for 6-7 hours puking on and off. I advise against it.

1st qustion = you will not die or go through withdraws if you take sub an then oxys later, the sub companie just says that so youll only take sub an stay addicted to it



2 question = if you take any opiate or opioid and take benzos, it just increases both of the highs, like if you take a bar and an oc 40 itll feel like you took 2 bars and an 80, so if your mixing i recomend taking half a sub if your use to taking a fell one, and no the 73% is a total lie. i have od'd once, on benzos and opiates but i was 17 and i took like 3 bars and a a 10th and a half of china, i wish i had the knowledge i have now back then. anyways its completely false, just take less of both if you mix it up

you are the one that is very wrong sir. i have experienced terrible wd's by taking sub to quickly after and oxy. it is the worst feeling in the world.

Ive taken suboxtone w out waiting 24 hrs and got tatally sick. Ive tried every which way. Since my habbit is so bad even when i wait that lobg i get sick, so now i take 4 mg get sick which flushes ur system then use again orb dead for for 3 days. Its easier this way then take it again after 24 hrs then was fine. Unless u can hang for a couple days but trust me those 3 days seem like a week of weakness sh--timgand throwing up and not eating. As long as u dnt takethe subs more than 3 or 4 times it will work and make u well again only when u take it for more than a week will it block all opiares for at least 2 days ive done it.

I am trying soo hard to quite this pill addiction its killing me! I can't even breathe without a pain pill. It doesn't matter what it is as long as its an opiate! I am going to my Doc today and telling him. All I feel is embarrasement and shame! I need help and I want to thank all of u for putting out yr experiences so someone like me has someone to talk to.
