I’ve been diagnosed with knee tracking problems. I don’t know what to do because my doctor suggests surgery and I’m pretty squeamish not to mention terribly afraid of all surgeries even minor. What is this condition and what has caused it? I’m an avid runner for over two years. I don’t have excessive weight and I’ve always tried to lead a healthy life.
Well, there are several reasons for this condition. Sometimes even people who sit a lot, for example, secretaries whose job is sedentary have this disorder. And sometimes people don’t exercise properly, which may lead to putting excessive stress on the knee. I’ve had similar problems and my knee kept on clicking and aching. But I paid no attention and continued to run every day. All that lasted until one day I was unable to walk. I don’t think that surgery is necessary for this condition. I went to physical therapy and solved all my problems. After that, I learned how to run properly in order to avoid repeating of this problem.
