I am 34 years old and my father is 63. He has been going for the dialysis treatment for the past couple of years and so far he is doing fine. Since I also have kidney stones just like him, I have to say that I am afraid I will not end up like him. What kind of diet can help me avoid dialysis?
Well, I think that you should try to avoid proteins as much as possible. So, meat, peanuts and similar food would have to be at the minimum in your diet. I know that it sounds a bit too rough but that is something you will have to do in order to prevent further kidney complications.
