Romaine lettuce, spinach, roma tomatoes, radishes, cucumbers, carrots, sunflower seeds, broccoli and usually for a kick crushed red pepper and always italian dressing.

Romaine, spinach, carrots, sprouts, sunflower seeds, cukes, tomatoes (decent ones, anyway), egg, and freshly-cooked bacon. For dressing, I mix red wine vinegar, extra-light olive oil, and a bit of grated parmesan cheese, la Pasta House restaurants.

Add chickpeas and kidney beans, good sources of low-fat non animal protein!
Artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, sweet or hot cherry peppers, make it more like an antipasto with a little bit of good parmesan (shredded or cubed, not grated). Serve over romaine or italian greens with a nice italian dressing (preferable the homemade oil and wine vinegar variety.
Or do a spinach salad: spinach, onions, mushrooms, egg, red peppers, grape tomatoes (I love those little things) with a nice balsamic vinaigrette.
Or with meat: make chicken salad with either a good stone ground mustard or veggie mayonnaise instead of regular mayo, and then add to that chopped yellow and red peppers, green grapes (halved), celery and onion and fresh ground pepper. Serve over salad greens and you don't need dressing. Don't forget the Triscuits!

My produce delivery dudes send me a mixed salad green that has stuff like radiccio and nasturtium in it. Very tasty, yet unrecognizable.
I usually put a little of everything in the crisper. Sunflower seeds are very good in salad too. Boiled egg, grated cheese, anything to make it a little more meal like and a little less vegetabley.
