I never experienced cramping befor Novasure procedure but now I have some mild cramping and my stomach is so bloated and I feel like I can burst! I feel like a blimp and don't know if this is normal. Can someone help with this before I explode!!!!
I had my ablation done 2 1/2 years ago and everything went just fine until last November I started having serious pain. The kind of pain that makes you want to vomit. I delt with the pain and bloating because it would go away after taking ibprofen. The next month nothing then in January it was back, this stayed like this until now. I have had pain every month rather than every other and my OBGYN says a hysterectomy now will more than likely take care of my pain. I have been diagnosed with hemometria this was possibly caused by the ablation I had 2 1/2 years ago. I have also been offerd to have a D&C but that would make the ablation worthless and I would have heavy periods all over again. I did my homework on the ablation and only 20% of women who have it done have problems I guess I'm the unlucky one along with my sister who also had to have a hysterectomy.
I have Novasure in June, for extreme heavy bleeding. My experience was the same as most of you had period in june and july. August no period, but on all 3 months Pain is the same or worse than before procedure. Kinda disappointed in MY results.
i had the procedure done 10 days ago and so far no bleeding to speak of. im still losing what looks like scar tissue. Hope that stops soon.
Hi, Ladies
I had my ablation done on 12/11/09 and before getting this done I was bleeding very heavy 3 weeks non stop. And once ablation was done yes more cramps and am still discharging, bleeding feeling very bloated. Now i feel that I should of just stuck with the heavy bleeding because am still bleeding since this was done. I go to the doc this mon to make sure everything is ok. Am not understanding these side effects and I don't like it. Is this all normal? :'(

I had the procedure done 3 years ago. I've not had a period since then. However, I do get monthly bloating, and sometimes mild cramps. I also get the premenstrual headeaches. But no period, and the symptoms that I do get only tend to last for a day or two. I've found the midol or premysen works to elleviate.
I had the Novasure alation done 3 years ago. I have had the worst cramps in all my years of having a period after the novasure. I still have heavy bleeding and have started having a period every two weeks. If I had my time to do it again I would have had a total hysterectomy and got it over with.
I had the novasure procedure and all was well for 3 years. Now I am getting periods again complete with cramps and clots. I am not happy. I would not recommend novasure.
It is normal to have cramping and bloating - they haven't removed your ovaries, so you will still go through monthly cycles of pms and symptoms of having your period. Unless you have your ovaries removed, you will continue this process until you go through menopause. I just had ablation, and my doctor wants me to try the pill or the hormone injection to stop the pms and period issues, such as bloating and cramping. You should all ask about that.
Omg! I had endometiral ablation done last year in July and unfortunately I have to report that Although the bleeding has lessened to a spotting, every month the pain increases and I find myself having to go to the emergency room! The pain becomes un bearable and unexplainable and I need to know why. I am actually frightened by this. :(
i ave had the ablation 4wks ago i started avein crampy pains yesterday but no bleeding just had a orange /yellow discharge is this normal/
I had the procedure done a year and half ago and within the past 6 months I'm having periods again. Not heavy but enough to be annoying. They last about 4 to 5 days like a regular period. I'm going to talk to my doctor about having it redone. Anybody else experience this?
Your body still goes through the hormonal cycle of menstruation. Just because you are not bleeding or bleed less does not mean you won't feel the PMS s/s associated with menstruation. The ablation only rids the endometrial lining, preventing a lining to thicken therefore leaving no place for an egg to implant. Only way to rid the cramping, bloating, discomfort from menstruation is to do a hysterectomy.
Yes, you still have a menstrual cycle. Ablation only causes lesser bleeding and if you lucky you may have no monthly bleeding after about 6 months
I just had the endometrial ablation done a week ago. I have no abnormal pain or bleeding. My uterine lining is still "sloughing" off like the doctor said it would. My question is, when should that end? Other than that everything has been normal and by the book.
