Here in Florida, you are prescribed methadone at the methadone clinic and become pregnant, you are informed right away that if you quit taking the methadone at the clinc, that your baby is at a extremely high risk of withdrawing which subsequently causes the mother to have a miscarriage and that the mother will be held responsible for involuntary manslaughter. Do your research. Call a methadone clinic and tell them you are on methadone and ask them if it would hurt the baby to quit or ask them what would happen if you quit taking your methadone. Are u an addict??? Never understand unless u have experienced drug addiction yourself.. I have 4 kids 2 on methadone prescribed by a physician, 1 of which is absolutely fine, the other was in Nicu for 7 weeks, and has had a bladder problem nd with her tear ducks.. I'm not sure if this was even caused by methadone use, but there isn't. Day that goes by that I don't think is this my fault, did I do this to my baby girl nd feel so much so much

These mothers should go to jail. A birth control implant should be mandatory while someone is signed up with a clinic. It's not fair at all to these babies.
