They don't let me do anything I'm old enough I can't go anywhere do anything! I'm 15 years old and I'm not allowed to go shopping or even to parties my friend is having a birthday meal ad they won't let me go they never let me go to anything it not fair and I do housework and help around the house as well as revise and et the best possible grades I can and they'd it appreciate it they always say it's rubbish and not good enough it's not fair I've tried talking to them I've tried to work even harder around the house help my mum even more than usual but it never works they never let me do anything I've even true to talk to them and told then in old enough but they just don't understand thy don't get me they don't realise that I'm old enough and capable enough to go out for a meal or to go to the shops by myself

Simply keep it up. Think of it more as training for a really bad situation in the future and less as work. Not convinced? Look at American youth, put your head on that mug sho... I mean body, and be proud you're not lazy and incompetent.

Hello,

Many parents are over-protective; my parents sure were. They probably just want to keep you safe, even if that means not letting you do anything. You have to be patient; the time will come soon. Until then, try to do your best and hopefully, they will understand that you are more than ready.
