Hello, I am 54 years old and unfortunately, have a lot of problems with my kidneys. I cannot say that I had been leading an unhealthy life, but nevertheless I am facing the dialysis treatments now and I admit that I am concerned. For my quality of life, my job, relation with family members… Will I have to retire once I start with the dialysis?
Well, it all depends on what is your actual job and how strenuous it is for your body. I guess you will be heading for dialysis treatment at least once a week, and you will be occupied for couple of hours. I assume that if you are working at the office, therapy should not pose many problems for you. As for quality of life, well that is another matter…
