Hi, I am a 23 years old male, and I am considering working out in a gym. I was always skinny, but I think that I have potential to boost the muscles. Do you have any tips for me?

Hi, if you are skinny, you have to be very patient with boosting muscles in the gym. It will take lot of time and effort to make muscles, if you don’t already have them. I recommend you to do the exercises for all parts of the body, because you don’t want to boost only your upper part of the body, and to stay skinny from waist down. Don’t get disappointed if you don’t have the results right away, it could take years of working in the gym before you’re satisfied. You will probably have ups and downs in your motivation, but don’t ever decide to take steroids. They are unhealthy, and have effect only while you’re working out. You could make protein shakes, because they’re helpful and healthy. They are usually made of 100% natural peanut butter, fat-free cheese, soymilk, bananas and chocolate/vanilla aroma.

So many things I could point out and disagree with in the OP's post.

To oehme:

Use your resources. Go read online, pickup a muscle mag, and that will give you the basic jist of things, it may not be 100% correct, but it will start you somewhere. After that, just keep reading and keep learning, find someone you can talk to at the gym. You wont learn everything in one day, its a gradual learning process.

Secondly, if you dont know what you're doing in the kitchen, chances are you are just wasting a lot of time in the gym. Most problems can be solved first in the kitchen. You want to stop being skinny and get big? You need to eat in a calorie excess, find out how much calories you expend a day, and eat enough to feed your expenditure, and enough to feed your muscles after you've worn them down in the gym. You need to read up on a positive nitrogen balance and proper macronutrients(carbs/protein/fats). Building muscle is a large breaking and rebuilding process.

Lastly, be patient. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it. It'll take a good amount of dedication and consistancy.
