Ok so I am going through the same thing but this is the SECOND time. The first my doctor swore it was herpes. He tested me for everything and the only thing I had was HPV. But HPV doesn't do this. The first time I was put on anti virals, a suppository called vandazole and an antibiotic! Since my doc was so sure it was herpes he ran not other test, which, surprise, the herpes was negative. So here I am, round two, I had meds left over so I am treating this now. The one thing that seems to be common with us all is yeast. When he took a look the first time, he did say there was a yeast infection on top of whatever the other lesion forming infection was. So I think the person who said it's yeast trying to fight its way out is on to something. I got this in Jan and got insane about my vagina. I got more cotton undies, don't sleep in bottoms at night... anything I could do and yet...here we go again. I am adding a yogurt a day literally from here on out. Having a vagina sucks.

Mine started as what looks like pimps and hurt. Eventually, they opened and became ulcer like. This of when you look at a cold sore inside your mouth on your cheek. Because it's a wet area, scabs can't form. So instead they were red and angry on the outside and in the middle like tannish...like is a scan got really wet. I also developed cuts, like DEEP cuts that became infected and took on the same appearance. These cuts just developed, I literally did nothing to create that trauma.

Did you ever get a result?

Wanted to get other opinions on this, but I'm only 17, and about a week and a half ago I had a desire for sex just like every other human being, and I hit up an ex boyfriend knowing i've had sex with them before thinking it was safe and completely fine. We had sex, and I got the pleasure I wanted and thought everything was fine. Two days afterwards I started having burning piss, and assumed it was a UTI, went to the doctor that day and got the medication for it, also had a tingling numb feeling in my lower back. It didn't get any better, and within the next two days a bunch of bumps formed around my genitals. It didn't look like herpes so I assumed it was just razor burns because thats what it looked like, plus I didn't have most of the symptoms to herpes. I didn't have a fever, headaches, tiredness, none of that. The itchiness and burning while urinating got so bad that I went to the emergency room again 2 days later. The girl that saw it said it doesn't look like it and it just looks like razor burns, but she did a swab test anyway and i'm still waiting on the results, and prescribed me the daily medication for herpes just incase so I could get some type of relief from the pain, so far i've been on the medication for 3 and a half days and the break out has went away a lot and the lower back pain and the burning while urination has went away, so I'm pretty sure the results will be positive. But the only small hope I have that it isn't and it might just be a horrible yeast infection is because I've had constant white liquid discharge, not cottage cheese like but liquid like. Plus the sores now look like white little puss balls like they do online for yeast infections. But I've just been having symptoms for the both of them at this point so my best bet is to just wait for the results on my herpes swob, but I was wondering if anyone had these type of symptoms and what there results were or opinions on my symptoms and what they add up to? Also how long does a herpes swob test normally take to come back?

I am currently going through this. Was in servere all over when I wee’d went to the doctor and there was no ulcers or discharge but symptoms persisted so ended up in a&e and was then sent to the clinic had another check and swabs taken, they were then looked at under the microscope and was told they couldn’t detect the virus for herpes, which was a good thing and I had nothing to worry about, yet I still am, but will send them off any and was given the option to take the antiviral tablets which I took as in so much pain, have no noticed the pain is actually when I wee so have gone up for a unrine test (very dark to), have been with my husband for years so I can’t understand where they have got herpes from. I’ve also been tested for sti’s before due to struggling to get pregnant. This is making me feel better reading this as sounds so similar to mine me. The doctor at the hospital was just really horrible and was just like it’s herpes and that’s it didn’t explain any other options at all

Hi I have had the same situation, had sexual with my husband then couple days late I’m in the pain saw one doctor and there was no discharge or ulcers pain didn’t get any better to went a&e and the doctor was extremely blunt it’s herpes! Go to a clinic, I had yellow creamy discharge at hospital (which tbh has been normal for me since a infection from split stitches after my son) got to clinic and the lady said it looks like herpes ulcers but I’m under the microscope nothing was detected and was looked at by two clinicians, she said they couldn’t detect it which was a good thing and if trusted my husband had nothing to worry about. Still worrying though. Taking antiviral mess but burning still there so having a urine test as wee is extremely dark yellow and that burns like hell. I’m very upset with the hospital doctor for not explain other options with me as have spoke. With my normal doctor and he said there’s lots of reasons can get ulcers that are nothing to do with herpes at all and just wait and see what the cultures come back saying. Have you had you results?

I am having the exact same issue. Almost word for word as you describe it. Even my Dr said the same thing yours did, How it doesn't look like herpes but she doesn't know what it is. I'm still waiting for my herpes culture test to come back. It's nerve racking. I've been with the same person for the past year and these sores appeared after having a cut on my vaginal opening. It started as one sore and now there's multiple. I have a milky odorless discharge. I honestly have been holding a cup under my urethra when I pee so the urine doesn't touch the sores, it's worked wonders. It doesn't itch or tingle or burn. It just hurts to touch the sores. I was given acyclovir ointment because it can be used to soothe sores even if it isn't herpes. I very recently had a uti, a yeast infection and was taking antibiotics. I've had a fever all weekend and can't get to my dr until tomorrow morning. I'm in so much pain and I think I'm losing my mind.

I think it’s amoxcillin after the doctors gave me it because I thought I had strep I got all these lesions down below. I thought I chemically burned my self with Nair but I notice every female here had either a uti or amoxicillin shot

I'd like to share my experience here, because this thread has been the only thing keeping me sane these past few days!

About 3 weeks ago I had unprotected sex with and on/off partner (I know, how stupid). Anyways, immediately after I felt something was off down there. I brushed it off thinking it was just really darn good sex, so I was thinking it must've been the "good" type of soreness. Then, 3-4 day's later I started to get super itchy and had an abnormal amount of discharge that eventually turned milky-like--I immediately knew it was a yeast infection (I've had it before). So, I bought myself the 3-day Monistat. It cured my yeast infection, but not the itching. In fact, the itching just got worse.

After about a week since I had sex (2 days after I finished Monistat), I began feeling a sting in vagina area. I decided to inspect my vagina with a little mirror... and there I saw a little cut in between the lower opening part of my vagina. I've had cuts before, so I did not freak out. I went about my day and thought it would heal on it's own.

Two days later, the stinging was still present. My curiosity led me to inspect my vagina again (just to be sure), and BOOM! Two open sores! My heart dropped, and my life flashed before my eyes. I ran to get on my laptop and I started googling all my symptoms... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS. Google results showed herpes all over and nothing else. At this point, I felt so disappointed in myself... how could I be so irresponsible? I immediately felt dirty, and started thinking about what my life would be like with and STD. I knew, then, it was time to call my doctor and make an appointment.

Today, 3 weeks since I had sex, I went to see my gyno and she immediately told me it's herpes. I actually have a few more open sores since the first 2 by the way... just great. I couldn't hold back the tears and I started ballin. I asked her if she's certain, and she said yes... but, that only the test results could confirm. She prescribed me Valacyclovir to start taking to help clear the sores and to prevent any new ones. I'll follow up with my test results to confirm my diagnosis.

I know this story isn't the most hopeful, but it has led me to do research on HSV1 and HSV2 and I've found that it's a lot more common than I thought. Basically, almost everyone has it. Some, don't even know it! HSV1 is oral herpes, but they can also lead to sores in the genital area. HSV2 is genital herpes. Also, this basically confirms that all my friends who get "cold sores" after being sick... yea, that's herpes! But, none of us knew! Also, you don't always get an outbreak if you do have HSV 1 or 2... some don't get any at all for a while, or they'll get 1 or 2 outbreaks their whole life. There are definitely certain things that can trigger an outbreak.
