Hello folks,
To address the issue of the rectal pressure it could be a few things. What I recommend is see a colon rectal specialist immediately. It could be many things. However, if you have had anal fissures whether they are chronic or have healed they can cause the anal sphincter to increase in pressure which can lead to mild anal steno-sis. Hemorrhoids both internal, external, prolapsed or not can cause some increase in pressure as well. Genetic disorders can attribute to this also. I would find a good colon rectal specialist and coordinate efforts with the two. I would have anal sphincter pressure measured and I would try topical treatments of nifedipine with lidocaine. It has less side effects the nitroglycerin ointment. Next, botox works well to temporarily relieve pressure in the are. I have not tried an LIS which is a more permanent solution to resting pressure and chronic anal fissure.
Could be quite a few things. But what I recommend is seeing a specialist immediately.
I have been through it all. Feels like there is a baseball up there. Just have to manage it properly, spend less time on the toilet.
My blessing for you all. We will get through this, please stay strong..
