I have been feeling the same way but I didn't have a fever. Fatigue, dizziness, sore throat, and slight cough. I had to leave school early not that long ago because of it. There were also two other students who were feeling the same way. Can't help you yet but just try to wait it out for now.
Meningitis can be bacterial or viral...bacterial is life threatening and viral isn't. I should know I had viral and was in the hospital for 5 days. So stop freaking out everybody its just that time of year where everything is going around.
It is truly not that simple. Emergency rooms will accept you, but you still have to pay. For many people, a doctor's bill of several hundred dollars is not something they can deal with unless it is an absolute emergency.
