Hi! I am so scared. I havent smoked for years, but five days ago i smoked something really strong. And i am walking in slow motion, having depressions, feeling like i am in a bad dream, never gonna wake up. I have started my dream university, have just met the man of my life, and then I managed to f**k it all up. I am not myself. I am thinking of suicide if i dont get help. I promise i never gonna do this again. My whole body it tickeling og shaky. Plase help. WILL THIS PASS?

Some immediate effects of smoking are:

- High blood pressure

- Higher heart rate

- Higher carbon monoxide volume in lungs

These are just a few immediate effects of smoking. I, myself, do recommend you to completely quit smoking. If you smoke even more, there will be long term effects such as:

- Lung cancer

- Gangrene

Even if you ask to take medics, the doctor will not be able to help you because there are no medics to help you. All the doctor would only give the advice to quit smoking once and for all.

THC is the ingredient of cannabis that in excess cause what you all are describing. It´s horrible but don´t be afraid: THC will be in your system for 26/30days. The half-life is 13 days so this dream-like feelings and the weird feeling in the nervous system will go down during this period. After 10 days you will be a lot better.

This is THC intoxication and if you were feeling normal before smoking, you all are feeling this because the cannabis you smoked is very high on THC.

hey man I went through this a while back. I remmember having to touch things just to know they were there. It was pretty wild and terrible. I also had really negative intrusive thoughts that were fueled by depression I was going through. Just ride it through because it's only temporary although it may not feel that way while you're experiencing it. Also maybe try some acid. It helped me clear my mind while I was going through that. Many people who don't smoke alot of weed, or if your tolerance is low, and then take in a greater amount go through this. It's totally normal.

Hey man i'm going to try to give you the best advice i can. I went through exactly what you went through and i'll tell you how i got over it. I'll first tell u my story, then my experience, and the result :

Ok so i never realized that i've had BAD anxiety until i smoked that "one night". It was late January, and me and my friends decided to smoke up. Ususallly i take a couple hits and im HIGH but this time .. i'm not sure what i was thinking. i smoked a whole blunt then started takes hits of my friends weed from a bong. So everything was cool, i was laughing, my friends were laughing, we were just chilling. Then out of NO where (and i mean NO WHERE) i zoned out. Like completely gone. It felt like my body felt into a 12 feet hole, and so many thoughts raced across my mind. Finally i snapped back out, and i stood up. I looked around and everything felt like it was fake. Everything was slow and laggy and it was something that ive never felt before in my life. My friends thought i was joking at first.. but then they saw my FREAKING out. I was running back and worth, screaming for help, asking my friends to call the Hospital. It was the scariest sh*t of my life. I kept saying " i'm going to have a heart attack" or "my heart is coming out of my chest". It was an absolute nightmare. So time went on and i calmed down but i knew things weren't right. I still didn't seem the way i used to be. A couple days later i realized that something was wrong. Everything felt fake, or like a dream. I was tramatized from that "one night". I was afraid to do anything, or even talk. And when i looked up things, i would get ever MORE scared. I found out i was suffering from disrealization or whatever its called ( i stopped caring at this point). So this mental disease stayed with me for a couple months, and it finally wared off. So here is the result...

What will treat your problems? A : TIME will. Time was the cure for me. It took me about 5 months to fully get over it but i'm so happy that its over.

Another thing to tell urself is that ITS ONLY TEMPORARY and many people have gone through the same thing.

So from this whole experience, i feel like weed taught me many things and showed me a new world. It broke down the simplicies of life and i saw MYSELF as an individual. It made me a difference person. So all i can say is as a result.. Just take deep breaths and try to enjoy life. If you have a family, be happy that they're all alive and spend time with them. Just do things to get THE FEELING off your mind. I'm only 16 and would of never htought that i would of experienced that. Good luck to all patients and you'll get better soon i promise :)
