i would go to the doctor...dont have any negative information about the pill but its best to be in a doctor/nurses hands, then to experience pain on your own.

Hi.. for the woman who had the rh shot..the point is to prevent difficulties in later births. If you are rh negative but the aborted fetus was rh positive, then the fetus blood coming into contact with your blood would cause your body to make anti-bodies to the rh...this could cause problems in later pregnancies because if you had another rh positive fetus, your body would already have antibodies built up that might attack it and cause a miscarriage...I hope this helped you!

I have had the same pain in my abdominal area. And I was in pain for so Long after my abortion. I didnt know what it was I was hurting in my back like someone was pounding on my belly. I couldnt take it anymore so I went ahead a went to the ER and they stated that the abortion was not complete. I had to have surgery to get the rest of the tissue that was in my tubes out. So I say if you are having any kind of pains in you abdominal area or you back please go get check because the process was not done right.

I am also Rh negative, I have had 3 abortions, and 7 months ago gave birth to a very healthy, beautiful baby boy. The shot is so your blood cells don't attack your baby while you are pregnant. I had to get it 3 times while pregnant with my son. It doesn't harm your baby or do any damage if you decide to keep your baby. :)

theres plenty of horror stories with the pill and surgical abortion, i had a surgical 4 weeks ago and the clotting and bleeding were very scary. i was passing clots the size of my hand and the bleeding was very very heavy. My GP said it was just my body coping and healing from the trauma of the invasive surgery....I've stopped bleeding now and havent bleed for a week but having sex with my husband is ok but painful when pressure is put on the cervix. i dont know why this is. . I think whatever procedure u have its all very distressing and there is gonna be a lot of bleeding

i had a early medical abortion at 8 weeks, i took the first tablet on monday after having a ultrasound then went back two days later. i had to have the anti d injection then the nurse put four tablets and a tampon into my virgina. i was then able to go home. once home i settled down for what i expected to be alot of pain after reading alot of posts similar to these. 2 hours later i removed the tampon, id already started bleeding. after a few hours of cramping i passed my pregnancy four hours after leaving the hospital. all the clots tissue and the pregnancy i passed whilst on the toilet as i found it easier and more comfortable. although the pain was bad i had previously had worse periods. the following day i felt so normal all signs of morning sickness had gone and i just felt like i was on a heavy period. however yesterday whilst tying my shoes up i got a severe stabbing pain in my lower adominal my partner told me to go back to the clinic and find out why, i didnt however. today ive woken up with pain in my lower back and still in my adomin. is this normal? ive got a follow up appointment in 3 weeks but im not sure if i should contact them sooner.

i had an abortion on the 12th of this month october, i went to the clinic once to receive info, have blood tests and have an scan. I was 6 weeks and 6 days pregnant, So my option of abortion was the tablets.

I went back to the clinic later that week to be given an tablet i had to swallow, i had no syptoms of sickness at all i felt fine that day.

The next day u went back to the clinic for the medical procedure, i had my blood pressure taken an then i was asked to lie on the bed with my legs open, i was extremely tence and the nurse said i have had some slight bleeding, i didnt even notice. Then she inserted 4 tablets into my ladyness hole lol one by one.

The nurse said i should start the abortion within an hour.

So i was in the car on my way home and 20 mins after leaving the clinic i started to get bad abdominal pain, i ha already taken 2 paracetamol before i went to the clinic, so i taken 1 ibuprofen, 2 seconds later, PLEH, i threw up loads all inside the car. . . .my parents wernt botherd they just wanted to get me home, it was an horrid and painful half hour drive home, as soon as i got home my mum gave me an pad to put in my knickers for when i start bleeding and then i got sright into her bed with an water bottle. The pain did not stop, i was in agony, i felt the contractions coming and going getting worse, i took some codine (an really good painkiller which the clinic gave me) and ibuprofeni threw up several more times. so no pain releif for me. The pain finally went after about an hour and an half of tears, moaning and screaming. I was asleep for some time then whoopy doo the contractions came back, but this time it was much much worse. I was crying my eyes out, sqeezing my mums hand with my sister on the end of the bed crying her eyes out coz she hated seeing me in so much pain. I had the feeling of something coming out  of my ladyhole so my mum helped me to the toilet, i could barley walk, pushing my hot water bottle as hard to my abdomen as i could. i sat on the toilet pushed an phhhhhhuuuuuushhh loads of blood came out and i threw up more. I got back into bed and the pain had eventually died down and gone. I fell asleep. I woke up several hours later feeling like i had just pushed out a fat pumpin out. i was sore but able to walk slow but not standing straight. I was sore for an few days after and eventually got better within an week. But yesterday 22nd october i started to get pain again close to contracting pain so i took some painkillers and it soon went after lying down for an hour. but it still hurt when i walk, crouch, bend over, sneeze and cough, also when i pass urine.  so im going to doctors on monday to have an checkup as i think i may have an infection because i did forget to take the antibiotics i was given an few times.

I will never ever allow myself to have an unplanned pregnancy ever again, its the most painful experence ever, unforgivable.

I had a surgical termination a little bit over 2 weeks ago. I also vomited all the way home as one of the other guests stated but that is normally due to the anesthetic. I got told by my doctor that I was 7 and a half weeks through via my blood results, never ever rely on blood test results, your hormone levels can drop at any time during pregnancy. Go ask for an ultrasound. The day I was at the termination clinic I had an ultrasound and I was 14 weeks through, that's double what I was told days before. I was showing but my doctor said its nothing, maybe my uterus expanding but it was actually because I was further through and I knew it! Like they say, you know your body best. Anyway, when I woke up after surgery I wasn't in much pain due to pain killers, when I got home 4 hours later I felt a little cramped but nothing bad. My bleeding was horrible but only lasted two days. The nurse at the clinic said bleeding and pain will most likely get worse and be bad for two weeks. Everyone is different! I bled for two days, cramped for one. Now its two weeks later and I'm lightly bleeding and have bad pain in my lower abdomen and lower back. In all honesty these pains can last for up to 4 weeks! Do not stress, confront your doctor and ask for tests if you are worried. I know do the people that google abortion for advice must be scared, but it's children but choice, not by chance, if you can understand and accept that then the physical pain will be nothing. Everyone is different and you should have nothing to worry about, there is always someone to help.

I had a surgical abortion last friday and i can honestly say it was one of the worst experiences of my life.. I had really struggled with the decision from the beginning. I was 10 weeks and a day.  As far as I know everything went well but the emotions I've felt have been hard to bear, especially when everything around you feels so clinical. I felt quite upset that I wasnt offered much advice or follow up appointment etc so have felt really unsure and worried about how I am and should be feeling. I felt like I was doing ok and pain and bleeding were minimal so I went back to work yesto but half way through the day started bleeding clots again and felt quite tender lower abdomen. The previous night I had sweats throughout the night so i went to the doctor and have got some antibiotics. I'm actually feeling quite tender and my right ovary aches, which is more prominent when I walk. When I pass water I have started to get some shooting pains which has worried me a little. So I'm back off work and resting, which I'm not sure how long I should do for. What I find difficult is that all the physical symptoms take their toll on my emotional state. i feel so sad that this had to happen, it has hurt me to the very core and I would have been so much more careful had i realised what I would have to go through. i really hope that I'll be ok and my body and soul will return to its normal state soon and that i'll have the opportunity to have a beautiful family in the future at the right time and in the right state.  I wish everyone well and good health and healing on their journeys. x
