Did you ever find out what it was? I have the same thing!

Same thing here, when I go to tie my shoes or sometimes when I laugh. It feels like a cramp or tightness on my left side right under my ribs.

Go Keto. I'm on 5' but weighed 170! I have this pain (under left rib, it is horrid and spasms happen when I bend) Removing carbs/sugar from my diet for the last 5 weeks I have lost 24 lbs. I eat more now than I ever have. I keep my carbs between 20-50 a day. I follow Dr Berg who explains "Healthy Keto" I eat organic veges and good salmon/port/chicken/beef. I don't eat fat just for fat (NO BACON) Some days I have fasted for 24 hours. I cannot believe how much weight I have lost.
My fear is that it's an inflamed pancreas due to all the sugar /processed foods I have eaten over the years. I'll pray for us all. Going to the Doctor 5/28. Good Luck Everyone

I’ve recently started having this pain and I had a hip resurfacing in 2019. I’m fit and bit muscular so it’s not a weight issue.

I had it last week, and it seems it is a strained muscle. The pain intensity is decrasing with the time, but still more intense on touch. You, did you sort it out?

I also have had this ‘twisted muscle’ problem a couple of years if I bend the ‘wrong’ way. It’s almost like a cramp type of pain and feels like a muscle moves and gets trapped, releasing on standing up straight and breathing out in long breaths. It started after twisting when I was in the pool, someone went to grab me and I pulled away, twisting when I did so.

I have this on both sides and the only thing that helps is a heating pad. I am sore many days.

Ditto ditto I also have this 40 years ago it stated 2 weeks after I had a baby, doctor told me the two muscles that run down the abdomen stretch with pregnancy. He told me one of mine more than likely snapped , nothing could be done. So for 40 yrs I suffer this every day. It can grab me like boom if I bend , twist, getting into a car then I'm like a freak I have to straighten up which is hard when your driving. And breathe it out, I can geek it shrinking back and back but if I move omg it grabs me again.. can anything be done about this. Sometimes it can go on for about 5 minutes which feels like eternity. And yes it did feel like when a baby moves inside your belly but at 61 there ain't no baby lol. Send a lot of is have it but no doc can fix it.

I have the identical problem that you cited
It only happens when I bend over to tie my shoelaces. I feel a cramp like spasm, always on my right side and a small lump on my abdominal wall.
Rubbing the area stops the cramp and makes the lump disappear. I never consulted a doctor for this as it was so fleeting. I am not particularly overweight at 6 ft, 200 pounds. The human body is strange

What a hot take, some people and I mean a lot of people cannot afford a doctor.

Left of belly button I get a spasm if I bend over for more than say 30 seconds or a minute. I can’t stand back up. I have had all of the tests, they show nothing.

I have had this for years, but it has recently gotten worse since I developed herniated disks in my back 9 years ago. I get these spasms in my left leg the whole thigh area, abdomen and stomach. If I move a certain way, bend over or down, a horrible spasm/twisting cramp starts and now even getting up to move around gives me no relief for several minutes or longer. I pound on the pain, tried a massager, some muscle cramp foam, change positions but it just has to move back on it's own when it's ready. Horrible pain, can't breath too well, feels like something is moving out of place, twisting or dislocating. I need to lose weight too, but can't exercise because of the back issue and now achilles tendon pain. My doctor also looked stumped when I asked about it. I am now trying to drink more water which I know I haven't done enough, Hope someone finds out what this horrible monster is.
