I too suffer like this for years I've recently seen a chiropractic which helped and now a phisio too she discovered my pelican bone doesn't meet due to pregnancy and I looked it up and it can cause a multitude of problems if not detected iv3 also been told that the blood pressure in my brain is low and now waiting for a neurologist.
Pelvic bone lol .
Hi, I'm so glad I've found more people with the same attacks as me. I'm 14 turning 15 in a few days and this has been happening every month since I was 12 or 13. It always happens on my period or on the first day of the cycle and I get the worst cramps I can barely move the pain is unbearable. If I don't drown myself in drinking a full days water in time the symptoms get worse and carry on to a cold sweat, very hot, fainting and dizziness, shaking or very bad shivering, sharp shooting pains down my legs and sometimes vomiting. I usually have to go to the bathroom and it isn't very pleasant expecially with the other symptoms happening as well as panicking that I think I'm going to die. When this happens I'll chug a ton of water, get a cold cloth on my head, take some ibuprofen and lie in my bed hoping it'll go away and then eventually it does. After this attack I get a very tired and weak feeling and I usually fall asleep. This happened at school though and it was quite embarrassing and I'd like it to stop asap. I was in a school assembly and it had just started and my stomach felt very severe like normal so I just tried to sit through the pain but it wasn't working I then felt very hot and the other symptoms kept piling on. I tried to ignore it but the assembly was an hour long and we kept having to stand up and sit down after singing national anthems and paying respect to fallen soldiers (because it was that time of the year) it was getting unbearable I was so scared I was going to puke or faint in front of everyone so I told my friend and she said I look white as a piece of paper and she thought I was dying. I had to sit through another 30 mins of this and I couldn't take it any longer so thank god the thing was over. My friends rushed me to the sick bay and I almost fainted and I couldn't see and the cold sweat was very present not to mention the stomach cramps. I was so overwhelmed and in pain that I burst into tears in front of my friends and the teacher (how embarrassing) I was shaking uncontrollably because my body thought I was cold when actually my temperature was very high. A bit later my dad came and I went home but this by far was the worst attack but I don't want a repeat. I tried to talk to a doctor but they said to me in secret "are you sure you just don't want to go to school is there something bothering you" lol! If anyone has a diagnosis please let me know I've looked everywhere. Thanks x
Hi Kristine I'm not sure if you have found a diagnosis to your health proble yet. Have you look into endometriosis , or chrohns , ibs ?
Wish I knew, as I too experience the exact same thing.
My sister just had it again last night. since i remember she had it on her early teenager and carrying it since. Happens once or twice a year. She cannot handle paint well, even a needle sometime can make her fainted.
Her Doctor have no solution for her and we reaching out to the chinese medicine side. They told us that for some women this problem will go away after they have baby, but some still remain for ever. They recommend drink hot water with honey or sugar and exercise regularly. Eat more alkali metals and fruits. Tries to avoid anything cold like ice cream or cold soda.
Hope it help!

I have been searching online for years to find others with these symptoms. Mine are very similar. Wakes me at night, severe pain, profuse sweating, weakness. I have passed out from it. My heart beats very strange during these attacks like with no rhythm, very erratic and I feel like I'm dying. I can barely move so I lay on the bathroom floor till I have to get on the toilet then everything comes out at once. My temperature drops to between 95 and 96 degrees and it takes a couple hours to get back to normal. I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease over 20 years ago. It was worse during pregnancy and I had a lot of blood loss during the attacks. Recently I saw a new GI Dr. who second guesses the Crohn's diagnosis but he's not sure what it is. He tested me for Porphyria, celiac, etc. I never thought it was Crohn's to begin with because I know others who have it and it doesn't fit the pattern. In between attacks I am severely constipated. I have had this for 33 years now. 95% of the time it wakes me in the middle of the night but I have had it happen during the day. Once was at the beach with my kids and passed out on the boardwalk. It comes on so suddenly there's nothing you can do. I hope and pray we all find answers. It doesn't seem to be brought on by certain foods.
I have suffered from this for years also. But I have found some actual triggers, which helps me avoid it, I havent had it in many years, and on the rare occation I can normal curb it before it gets bad. The only reason I am looking into again is my second oldest son has developed it too. When its happening to me, I dont much care I can deal with it, happening to my children, well thats a different story. It sucks sitting there just watching your child in pain and passing out, scary as all get out.
So first, Im not a DR, but I will relate my experience. It used to happen at random, or so I thought, until it happened two days in a row. It would normally happen in the morning or middle of the night. The time it happened two days in a row was because the first thing I put into my stomach was a soda (cocacola) it was all we had to drink other than tap water. The first day it was like every other time I couldnt figure it out, the second day gave it away. Approx 30 min after I took the first drink it started, it comes on very fast.
I decided to test the theory a couple times and sure enough, I was able to trigger it on three occations. Anyone who has this is wondering why on gods green earth I would want to do that. Well one part was to find a way to stop/mitigate it. And for me what works is this. If I feel it coming (you dont have much time) get a glass of water and pour a generous amount of baking soda in it (sodium bicarb) or any anti acid (basic solution that is drinkable) . Expect to burb a bit, and the momentum will carry it for a few minutes, and you wont feel completely normal for a little while, but it sure shaves the worst of it.
What I do to prevent it, I DONT EAT OR DRINK ACIDIC FOOD WHEN I FIRST GET UP. thats about it. I never put any really acidic or sugary food in my stomach when I first wake up. For those who have it happen over night, maybe watching what you/drink late at night.
I think the passing out is a response to the extreme pain, along with the heart irregularities, I have notice my heart beats very weird when in extreme pain. Its stressful, and I am sure there is all kinds of chemical reactions going on, but the simple thing is to remain calm for as long as you are conscious.
Once I foudn the trigger, it allowed me not to go into a pain attack on top of the pain stress, and that reduced the overall effects too.
Maybe this will help some of you, or give a medical pro some indication what the issue is. I do a lot of diagnosis work in my job, and its hard to figure out what is going wrong when nothing is wrong at that moment, and sadly most of us have very foggy memories of the incidents and have trouble explaining what we experienced.

I have had these symptoms my whole life, last episode was last night, haven’t had one for couple of years, Doctor once told be it was endometriosis, I don’t have menstruated cycles anymore!
I can also relate these symptoms to eating cream the day before having these , possible dairy allergy??
I deal with the same thing like to a t and I am a male
Lactose Intolerance, i have this but usually when i eat icecream, it doesn't hurt as nad as it did! I literally thought i was going too die. It took a couple hrs too go away. I tried too ly down but it was killing me! I thought it was gas which i will get from icecream but none? I sat on the toilet for an hr in pain but nothing? So i went back too bed in horrible agony! Ended up falling asleep and awoke ok.
I keep reading that I need a Cardio Workup! Good Luck Everyone!
Hi all, I have been having odd cluster symptoms on and off for about 20 years. They start with an awareness of pain in my lower abdomen then an odd sensation that goes from my belly all the way up my spine to my head. It makes me feel tingly and feint. I know straight away that i need to get to the toilet and I will either have diarrhea, the feeling of needing to vomit or pass out. I used to try and 'sleep' through it as more often than not it happens in the night but I have learnt that that never works. What seems to work for me is catching the feelings early. So as soon as I recognise the stomach pain coupled with the odd sensation I get up and get an icepack onto the back of my neck and ice cubes on my wrists. This either settles everything down or makes the burst shorter and less likely to feint. I've linked it to my thermostat being a bit off. I think I short circuited something when I was a kid as I got heat stroke and feinted with similar feelings as I started getting as an adult. So when I'm in the heat too long without enough water, this event seems more likely for me to happen. Docs haven't come up with anything better so this is my theory.

Hello, guest.
The symptoms you describe could potentially be related to various factors, such as neurological issues, gastrointestinal problems, or other underlying conditions. Given the long duration of your symptoms and their recurring nature, it would be advisable to consult with a specialist such as a neurologist or a gastroenterologist (if you haven't yet). They will be able to evaluate your symptoms, conduct a thorough examination, and order any necessary tests or investigations to help determine the underlying cause.
Keeping a symptom diary, where you note the timing, triggers, and characteristics of your episodes, can be helpful in providing important information to your healthcare provider. Additionally, it may be beneficial to discuss your theory about the potential connection between your symptoms and heat exposure with your doctor, as they can consider this information during the evaluation process.
