I am a 21 year old male and have had the same symptoms of muscle spasms/twitches right around my solar plexus for a while, and I realized that it usually happens when I am sitting down with my back arched. I still have no idea why this happens, but sitting with my back straight and controlling my breathing seems to at least lessen the twitching a bit.
The description above describes exactly what I am feeling. I work out 4-5 times a week as we'll. a few years back I was on a machine that worked the abdominals. I felt a muscle protrude just below the xiphoid process; I thought hernia.? Since that time I have not used the machine but different abdominal exercises an since then I have intermittent painless pulsating sensations occurring in the same area.
Hi Jessie, I've been getting similar spasms, have you found out the reason of yours? x
Hi, I was just wondering if you ever found out what was wrong as I have the same symptoms
For the last couple of months I have been experiencing the same and saw my doctor n did ECG test and my hearts beats are normal but he diagnosed me with high blood pressure and said the HBP is causing the palpitation or the flutters. He said when HBP gets back to normal u will be fine. I am now on low salt diet to reduce my BP but the flutters are still happening
Unfortunately, the fact that it's called a "syndrome" means that doctors don't have a Scooby doo about what it really is. That's their way of putting a name to something to cover up their lack of knowledge in that area. So it's only a direction to nowhere.
I too suffer from the same sensation, and am more inclined to think that it IS parasitic in nature, especially as many many more of us have parasites of the fluke/nemintode variety than we realise. I'm trying to do something about it though. I'm about to use a product called SCRAM from iherb, along with Papaya seeds, pumpkin seeds, and Ajwain seeds to try and get rid of it naturally once and for all.

Not sure I agree with that. I recently started twitching/fluttering again (just this month), but just started to take Ancient Minerals magnesium oil transdermally (which is THE best and most bioavailable way to get large amounts of Mg into your system without it flushing out of your bowels). I know the megadose Mg is helping me because I've had a noticeable turnaround of some symptoms that I know to be immune deficiency related. But there's been absolutely no impact on the fluttering (which is always noticeable about the same amount of time after I've eaten.
Haha! Been thinking the same thing while scrolling.
I have the same symptoms, iv had it for over a year, may be its a stone in the gallbladder?
I have a sensation inbetween the bottom of my sternum and my belly button. It either jiggles (like I'm shivering from cold) or jerks (like I'm 8 months pregnant). I'm not cold and not pregnant. I'm thin framed. It's been happening intermittently over the past two years. Usually lasts for a week during each spell. When it's jiggling, I get this anxious feeling, like something is about to happen. When it jerks, you can see it push out about an inch, like something is behind the muscle. I just looked on Wikipedia, and it said that BFS (if that's what it is) can be caused by a magnesium or vitamin d deficiency. The latter due to reduced ionized calcium in the blood. Could it be possible that eating more mussels could remedy this annoying problem? Also, during an episode, I tend top have extremely terrifying nightmares that wake me up with stomach shaking at 3 am every night.
Had this my whole life. Have a group on fb called 7th vessel beings. I am twiching in my lower belly under the fat. I don't eat meats and been checked and detox my gut daily. No worms, it happens it happens in my face different spots. Under the ribs and now this for two days. I'm not pregnant and have had this one twiching a few times before.
Nope that would be very painful ☆
hey buddy did you ever find out what it was ?
Oh thank you for this post.
Hello. I am 23 years old boy. I feel a strong beat like heart beat about 2 inches above my bellybutton (navel). Mostly when I sleep. Is it abdominal aorta aneurysm?
