Its not fair to to say that abortion is wrong, because I got pregnant, while on the rhtyhm method, birth control and still took the morning after pill. I am that .001 percent, and as a student that just got accepted to Medical School, having a baby right now was not suited for my life. You can call people like me careless or knowing the reprecussions, because sometimes you take all the precautions possible and still...it doesnt work out. Its a life lesson, and thats what you have to take from it. i would much rather go through this short lived pain, then live a life where i could never provide for my child that way i would want to.

i believe that abortion is right in some cases whereby the mother life is in danger or her unborn child. i also believe that abortion is WRONG when it is used as a Birth Control or a solution for getting pregnant when having unprotected sex.

What is so enlightning about this post? You are hardly living in reality. Abortion is NESSICARY for some women. Most women don't just go off and get abortions because they are great fun, and they don't make the decision on a whim without intense thought and great care, they get abortions not because they "want" to but because for what ever reason they NEED too. It is a last resort solution to a unpleasant situation when all other BC methods failed and the other options have been thought through and ruled out. I find it crazy when "pro-life" people wish DEATH on women because they aborted a 12 week or less embryo/fetus...which is not even "alive". Seems you contradict your own beliefs dear.....which makes those beliefs invalid.



As to weather or not abortion is "wrong" you can't say. It's a matter of PERSONAL OPPINION that varries from individual to individual. Your oppinion that abortion is "wrong" is not the supreme ruling in moral authority for all living women/people. People are quite capable of thinking through the issue and/or medical decision of abortion for themselves and coming to thier own conclusions about the morality of it.

i truely beleive that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but f**k me!!! i had an abortion a year ago because at the time it was the right thing to do, i do regret it but i dont see myself as a murderer or an evil person but i cannot believe that people can talk about a subject when clearly they have never had to put themselves through an abortion...! belevie me its not a 'birth control' its a way out of a desbrate situation. there is a reason that a baby is called a featus until its heart starts beating, a dead person has arms and legs and fingers and a spine but it doesnt have a heart beat therefore it is not living!! i have read on here about god giving you a baby and a special gift but sorry what a load of c**p! maybe 'god' should concentrate on the people he has living on this earth without worrying about bringing new life onto it, think of all the kids starving in the world and the fact that every second 1 child dies from aids in the owrld, so by the time u have read this almost 120 children have died. quite frankly for me i think its more important supporting a charity which supports children like that and donating the little money that i do have to that rather than bringing another baby into he world which i cannot support or feed or clothe. on the other hand i'm very happy for all you people who go to work on a daily basis and pay your taxes so that another child can be born into this world and you can contribute towards it's upbringing. i think its quite pathetic that people can judge someone on a website which is suposed to offer help and support to poeple who have had to make that choice. you should really think things through and how it will offend people before styicking your noses into something that you will never have to experiance. i hope opne day you do fall pregnant or one of your children do whne noone can support the baby. you small minded people make me sick, i dont think u understand the desprate state that some one has to be in to abort their baby and they certainly dont need to read about being a murderer or anything. you are entitled to your oppionins but visit an abortion debate site not one that offers support its not fair on the people who at the moment need the help and support of others

i understand what you are saying but sometimes you need to be careful when having sex because if you know that you do not want a baby then use a condom, go on birth control or take an injection to stop having babies you can't say that you're in a Desparate situation so you need to abort or you can't afford a child so you're going to abort the baby. that is plain silly of anyone who do abortion and then use a excuse to back up their decision why they have an abortion.

i was on the pill so yes i was part of the 0.01% that do get pregnant even when using contraception. i feel personally that it would be more human to have a child that could be loved and cared for properly not just dragged up does it not ever occur to you that there is a reason that we live in a society like we do today, maybe because partents just couldnt look after their children or treat them the way they were meant to be looked after. i think its fantasic that people do have children when they cant afford to look after them but for me still being at college i had no money i had no where to live. so i was in a desbrate situation. i think abortion is a very mixed thing and nobody will ever agree wheter its right or wrong. however i think that people who use it as an excuss not to use protection have litle respect for anyone least of all themselves but i was not one of those people. i wish i could of had the baby, but do you really think its fair for a child to find out that its own mother gave them up for adoption whehn they need to apply for a passport or something. Let alone the emotions that a person would go through having to give their own child up a child which they carried for 9 months and gave birth too. i know i certainly would not want to find out my parents were not my flesh and blood even if they had raised me

Have you ever held a baby in oyur arms and just watched it. It is helpless and you are the one that is taking care of it. Some day it will grow up to be something. Who knows it could be the president or the person to find the cure for cancer. If you don't even give the baby a chance to be born how are you going to know how great of life it night accually have. I am 18 and no matter what situation I was in I would still have the baby. I don't care if I couldn't take care of it I would give it up for addoption. How can a person Kill a poor helpless baby. We have more rights for dogs in this country than we have for unborn children.

It is SIMPLE. IF you do not want to get pregnant DON'T HAVE SEX!!!!!!!!


Aren't you glad that you are alive. MAybe you think abortion is okay because you fell that you have no purpose in life. WOuld you rather have never lived. If you think like that I suggest that you find help. Babies are the most precious thing in the world how could you ever put those beautiful things to death no matter the situation.

ABORTION is very very wrong. I never thought about it before., but now i have to debate about it in english class. I dont know who would have the guts to kill an innocent child :-(
It is the the mother and the fathers fault for having unprotected S E X.
But if a a woman gets raped, and turns out ot be pregnant.. then i kind of understand, but it still is wrong. Maybe the child you WOULDVE had turned out to be the best th ing that ever happens in your life.
SO DONT HAVE AN ABORTION.

you sound really smart about the condeming birth control that puts your overies a sleep so you can not make a baby NOT TO KILL IT AFTER IT WAS MADE!its easy if ya dont want a baby keep your legs closed.yea i know these poor innocent women they can kill a life and get a way with it.but no one ever thinks about these babies that dont asked to be put on this earth.think about it.

My daughter had an abortion after the birth of her first child. Her and the father had split up just before she found out she was pregnant for the 2nd time. Her ex partner did not and does not pay towards his childs keep, and he hasnt been in his life for ages now When she found out she was pregnant she was at first quite happy but the father told her he wouldnt have anything to do with it and told er to get rid of it. She was devastated and didnt know what to do, me and her dad supported her the best we could but ultimately it was her choice.
This wasnt an easy decision for her but in the end she went and had an abortion. I went with her and supported her throught he whole thing, and yes I sat and cried for the grandchild who might have been but it was the right thing for my daughter and her other child. She now has a lovely man in her life who loves her and her son so thankfuly next time she gets pregnant it will be a happy affair.
I dont think we should sit in judgement of others, its a womans body and her choice what she should do and I am very proud of my daughter as she did the right thing at the time and yes I was anti abortion once but I have now had my eyes opened to the real world and sometimes hard and difficult decisions have to be made and dont think for one minute having an abortion is the easy option she still grieves for that child. So please dont judge others
