I have been having same symptoms as well tired headaches and constantly hungry...but I'm wondering if our vitamin D isn't low, can remember now that it sort of helped me taking vitamin D a while back guess ill be going to my Dr. For a visit and get my vitamin D levels tested ...hope it helps some of you anyway ..

There are a few reasons you are feeling tired without any reason. One of them is anemia, which is a lack of red blood cells and conversely, oxygen from the lungs is not properly brought to the tissues and cells. Anemia may be caused by deficiency of vitamins or minerals, internal bleeding or chronic diseases. Women who are at “that time” of the month are susceptible to anemia as blood is lost during menstruation. Still, iron deficiency due to menstruation is less than in pregnant women or lactating mothers, as their body needs extra iron to maintain healthy blood levels. Things may also go wrong when your thyroid glands refuse to cooperate with you. Thyroid hormones, thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) are responsible for metabolic processes in the body. Too much thyroid hormone causes hyperthyroidism which speeds up metabolism while too little thyroid hormone slows down metabolism. Hyperthyroidism causes fatigue and muscle weakness and starts in the thighs. Doing energy demanding activities become difficult and other symptoms include weight loss, feeling warm, shorter menstruations, increased heart rate and thirst. Hypothyroidism also causes fatigue and muscle weakness. The symptoms are reversed to hyperthyroidism such as weight gain, feeling cold and longer menstruations. Diabetes, notorious for causing a range of problems in the body, is also related to fatigue. As glucose is the staple fuel of the body, it is not utilized properly in patients with type 2 diabetes as the absence of insulin causes the glucose to build up in the body. Without its staple fuel, the tissues of the body are not nourished properly and causes fatigue. Sadly, being sad can also be the reason you feel tired. Depression induces negative feelings and also has negative effects on the body as it causes a reduction in energy levels, changes in sleep and eating patterns, decreased concentration and overall laziness and worthlessness which keeps you in bed all day.

Hi just wanted to share what I'm going thru. You sound alot like me. I've always had a good handle on my weight even after 3 kids all 5 years apart. Anyway I am now 39 yrs old female I have been diagnosed with stomach ulcers also severe anxiety and depression. I was doing ok but unexpected pregnancy situation beautiful little girl however since having her almost 2 yrs ago I have had tremendous stomach pain burning almost a gnawing intense pain on my right side of stomach. Hungry constantly cannot lose the Weight I gained. I'm tired extremely tired. I've made appointments with my doctor for a physical as well as a gastroenterologist. I have heard that ulcers can cause a tear or hole in stomach it makes you feel hungry so you eat. I'm not the type to accept being chubby or thick or curvy. I am super short petite so carrying this around isn't feeling good. But I'm so so tired.

Hi. I'm about to be 30. I have had the absolute worst lightdheadness and extreme hunger where I have to eat every hour. Small meals even through middle of night. Sometimes more. I am always needing to eat or my brain feels like it shuts down and entire body becomes painfully week and heart rate goes way down. I am exhausted all day long. I am so sick of no explanation besides anemia. Blood sugar comes normal on test but it can't be. I'm so sick of this pain. I hope you find out what is bothering you. I would say get a test for hypoglycemia as I have all symptoms. Certain meds I find make it much worse especially if skipped.

I'm 14 I'm having the same problem except one thing I don't gain weight but yet I'm always tired and always hungry I don't exercise I don't do anything that could make me lose the weight I'm eating

Dehydration! You body slows down when it is dehydrated to save the little amount of fluids you have left. Your body will also give you "hunger" pains when you're dehydrated but we always associate it with food and not water. Try chugging some water when you feel that hunger next time and watch ypur energy levels slowly increase!
