Or exam was offered.... good luck Kaiser you are gonna need it!!!!!
I went downhill over the 18mths following gallbladder removal surgery with debilitating shock like pain across my lower back if I hit the slightest uneven ground at a walk. Nothing relieved my pain until a musculoskeletal Physio prescribed heavy duty antibiotics as an MRI scan had shown up some infection-like inflammation on my L5 disc. As I am a generally healthy and fairly fit person with a normally good immune system I can only put this down to the possibility of the gb surgery allowing a bug to enter my body in the vicinity of the procedure?
I felt as if he 'bomb' like antibiotics would kill me for a month after starting but after 90 days on two a day I finally turned a corner and am now almost pain free. It turned out I was part of a trial my physio had heard of in Europe which has shown some success in treating disc problems with antibiotics. It worked for me
Yesterday I had a double micro-surgery on L3/4 and L4/5 and they insisted I wear compression thigh length leggings after op. Woke up in the middle of the night with acute pain in the same front right thigh; the worst for 12 years. Took off the legging and the pain was even worse. During the day it has eased somewhat and I am hoping it returns to its earlier non-pain, numb state.
I do not believe it was the micro-op. which caused it to return but the compression legging, so be sure not to rest any weight or put restrictive clothing around the vicinity of the front of the thigh.
