OMG I have the same thing in my rib, pain in my back and sometimes where my rib is larger I am 13 years old and also something it’s a little hard to breath
i am suffering this too my intercostal ribcage is sunken and my left side sternum is half inch protruded and low stamina,. have regular back and hip pain . .tormented psychologically. .can't just accept this reality so unfair
Finally, I have found a group of people I can relate to. My bump is on the right side of my chest. At school whenever we would take those scoliosis tests, the results would always say that i had a slight tilt in my back. I went to see a doctor, and he told me it was fine and that it would even out as I grow. So, I just assumed it was because of that.
This appointment was about two years ago. I’m currently 16, almost 17. When I look at myself in the mirror, I don’t really notice it looking straight on, but I do notice it when looking at it from the side. I rarely work out, and I was going to start working out to try to fix it, but these comments have told me it won’t help. We’ll see what happens....
