We have owned red nose pits for over 45 years. Our first was at out wedding almost 48 years ago. Yes I agree one should research any dog purchase but mostly a good owner should know that just having a dog is a responsibility, just as a child. We have four children, 9 grandchildren and now our oldest is sleeping with our first great granddaughter. When she cries he comes into our room hits the bed with his paw to inform us. Merry Christmas and give pits the respect they deserve.

Pit bulls get a bad rap from people who don't train them the right way , I don't care what anyone says pit bulls are great pets and very friendly

We have two and they are sweet angels! If they could open a door they would and make you coffee after a lot of hugs and kisses. If nurtured and loved they are the best puppy ever!!!

we have a pit rotweiller mix and he is 1 and is the sweetest thing ever...we will miss him when he leaves us as well...he is like a 11 year old puppy at times lol

our pit rotweiller is friendly...and he is my boyfriends dog and we have been together for 2 yrs so I adopted the dog but I will say this the 1st day I met his dog he bit me in the face and I almost needed stiches it was pretty bad...I recovered but never will fully trust the dog ;(

I wouldn't recommend a pit bull to anyone as they are very unpredictable dogs...even if raised very well as my boyfriend has this one....we were foing to put him down but I talked my boyfriend out of it

Not all dogs meet the expected temperament. I spent my entire childhood around many breeds (dog shows, breeders, police dogs). The pitbull is not an unpredictable breed. I can't say that any breed is unpredictable. Most dog aggression towards people occurs due to people being unpredictable. All dogs need structure and routine. If we don't have an understanding of dog behavior, we should seriously considered not owning one. I have owned pitbulls and loved them as a family member. Remember a dog is a dog not human. There is a difference.

SO SORRY TO HERE ABOUT YOUR PITBULL.OURS IS 11 YEARS OLD PERFECTFULLY HEALTHY ,THEN 3 DAYS BEFORE XMAS SICK DRINKING ALOT OF WATER PEEING ALOT .HOT TOOK HIM TO THE VET TEST HIS PEE DIABETICS,NOW HE IS GOING BLIND DOESNOT WALK MUCH MY SONS LIFT HIM OUT TO GO TO BATHROOM HE WOULDNT GIVE UP LOVESS TO EAT AND CHEW BONES I CRY ALOT BECAUSE IT HARD TO SEE HIM LIKE THIS DO WHAT YOU CAN MAKE HIM COMFORTABLE GOOD LUCK

Had to skip her yearly vet trips for 4 years cause of our health problems
Got to take her this year to get shots,blood work and heartworm pills
Now.since then she is having this real bad nervous problem that last 45 minutes that nearly shuts her down
The cause ?????
Blood work and all is fine
Wondering and praying if this will go away in a couple weeks
It's our child,had her since she was 6 weeks old
Can not stand the thought of her leaving us
Never no more pets
Ever so heart breaking
Anyone else had this problem with theirs?
