Hello, our baby had her first synagis shot exactly a week ago and even since it’s been this long, she’s still experiencing cold-like symptoms like stuffed nose, with mild fever running. Our pediatrician said it’s expected she might have some reaction to the vaccine like at the injection spot or redness, and she sure did, however is this supposed to last for a week?
Like I said pediatrician assures me it’s less common but normal reaction to synagis shot and to just keep monitoring temperature, but both my baby and I are beyond teh point of tired. None of us can get any sleep because her nose gets stuffed almost instantly and she becomes scared – there isn't really much we can do. Is this kind of reaction to synagis shot really normal and if it isn't – what should I do?
