Hi everybody, my baby used to shake his head, didn't babble, didn't learn words, didn't play baby games, was not attached to me, couldn'ts stand touch (I wasn't able to carry him), cried during bath, couldn't touch his hair, face, hands... and so many other redflags, then bad diagnosis followed after brain scans and all that... I know maybe some people will not agree with me. But do pray for your babies, miracles happen and my son is ok. I write this so you do not give up, prayers and therapies work miracles. He is very bright, talks like a parrot, smiles, loves me, plays, he is super smart, he talks now more than his pairs. I believe in miracles.

My name is Marissa . I started shakig my head when i was just an infant as a source of comfort to sleep or in troubling times. Im now 22 and i still tend to shake my head occasionally. Ive never been diagnosed with anything other then its normal just as other things are normal like stress eating or nail biting. Its a habit that helps relieve stress. Whereas when i was younger it was due to an ear infection or just because i was tired. From what ive gone through with testing theres nothing wrong with me. Its my stress reliever/ when im tired type thing. Hope this helps maybe

Some babies do this, some don't. My first child did. He is now almost 15 and fine. My 3rd child now 3 months does it. Not worried at all

Does the head motion seem involuntary? My 9 month old son is shaking his head as if he's saying no but it seems like he has no control over it. I am worried about him.

Our grandchild "girl" was recently delivered, and the mom couldn't push, so they used suction to get the baby out. Now we find out that the baby has water on the brain. Is this common when using suction?

I have noticed that my baby keep flicking head up and side to side really fast. And then stop when I try to get her attention. At first, I thought she was sleepy, but it's happening more now. Is that normal?
