I have the same exact thing, had my gallbladder removed Friday and the lower back pain started on Sunday. Left side as well. It does go from mild to moderate to sometimes pretty severe. I have a sleep number bed and turned it up to 100% and had a decent nights sleep. It felt good during the early morning and late afternoon, but returned with a vengeance around 4pm. Crazy part is there is no pain at all by the incisions or anything that was surgery related. Very odd

Question: If they have no answer than how can it be said that there is no cure?

I would check for Pancreatitis. I had excruciating attacks on and off for 3 months. Ultrasounds, blood work and CT scans, ECGs, X-Rays and nothing showed up! Eventually they diagnosed pancreatitis but after 10 extreme attacks that had me on my hands and knees crying in pain and 6 trips to A&E via an ambulance , one lady managed to see a gall stone on the ultrasounds. Turns out I had several
Gall stones and some gall gravel that would block the pancreatic duct and caused the Pancreatitis. They said where it went untreated for so long, I will get more pancreas pain attacks. I've had 3 attacks since the gall bladder removal surgery :( . I also have Costochondritis (inflamed ribs) so the post surgery pain from gas expanding was excruciating. All this time my pain was about a 9 or 10/10. It's now 2 weeks post op and I feel like I have constant stitch in my right hand side, back pain and it hurts to take a full breath! I'm still taking morphine, paracetamol and codeine, I'm constipated, and my daily pain is about a 5-6 out of 10. Prior to surgery, I had pain attacks, but inbetween it would drop back to say a 3/10 for a few days. Some days it was zero. Now it's painful daily :( I have no energy, can hardly do anything, I'm scared to go back to work. :( I don't really know what to do! X

I am just over a month post op! My ride abdomen, side and back stopped hurting week 3. Guess what I got up from a low chair so carefully and it set me back pain wise beginning of week 3. I'm discouraged. I've been off work forever it seems! The bloating and bathroom trips omgosh! ;/ best of luck.
