I have been diagnosed with herpes. It's all between my vag and my anus. It is the most painful thing EVER!!! Before coming to ER I was almost screaming in pain and I did cry a few times. I don't understand how this came up all the sudden. Yes a few sexual partners but they told me they were clean (obviously they were not). I had my first sexual experience 9 years ago. These lesions are tiny itty bitty water like blisters. They are spread but itchy. I find that vagisil extra strength works wondrous. I suggest if you're a man or woman to use them. My outbreak has been going on for 3 damn months. This is awful. Having sex is like shoving pins in my skin and sometimes feels like a knife going down my skin cutting me open. Just taking a #2 is a struggle at times I'm swollen and passing it through is like non existent. It hurts so bad. Peeing burns and stings and it feels awful. But vagisil worked to numb it. Hurts like a SOB at first but then sooths the pain and makes it bareable to enjoy life again and have sexual times with the partner.
I wish this on NOBODY!!!! If you have suffered this long you're a trooper and the newly diagnosed you're in for a long ride lol
Hello fellow sufferers. I have been dealing with a particularly bad herpes outbreak for the past 2 months now. The problem for me isn't that my immune system is weak, but that the infected area was in under the foreskin, making it nearly impossible to keep dry, so the sores would stay damp and never heal.
I tried pretty much everything. I take 3000mg of lysine a day, 1000mg of BHT, I eat an entire garlic bulb a day. Nothing. Sore, pain, and have had to avoid social gatherings at all costs on the great fear that some girl might want to go near my penis and I'll have to make up some lame excuse.
Now today I approached the problem differently. Holding the foreskin back for hours at a time, with baby powder on the area, with a fan blowing directly on it, I would eventually get tired. The minute I let go the foreskin receded over the area and I was back to square one.
I tried to rig up multiple things to hold the skin back to keep it dry, but this is way harder than you might think, and painful in many instances.
Today I went to wallgreens and bought the only thing I haven't yet bought off the shelves. NuSkin. Basically its a antibacterial gel that hardens and creates something like "new skin" over the area. I cleaned the area off (the baby-powder had mixed with the puss and yellow slime and was caked on and very dificult to remove, but I used witch hazel and a soft t-shirt, making sure not to wipe but to dab).
Now, I have pressed garlic directly into my wounds, and was pretty sure that was the worst stinging pain I have ever had (and I've had laser tattoo removal which is five times as bad as getting tattoos). But the Nu Skin brought me to the brink of passing out (But to my credit, I'm tough and got through it).
The nuskin hardened and the pain subsided eventually (I recommend doing this in a chair incase you pass out.) I then put a waterproof band-aid over the nuskin, and a few more to attempt to hold the foreskin back.
Now I'm sitting here and the pain is almost non-existant. I have effectively sealed off the area. Now I know many people tell you the herpes need to breath, and that sealing a wound is not good if its infected. But if your problem is that the area refuses to stay dry, this might be the only way. Also most doctors are not living with the virus, I have probably performed more experiments on the herpes virus than your average doctor, because it's all I freekin do anymore.
I would recommend applying a coat, letting it dry, screaming in agony, then apply a few more just to make it nice and thick. The package says to clean it off (you can acomplish this by applying more and wiping it off quickly), 3 times a day, but I might just do it twice daily since its such a process and I do have a full-time job.
I would also recommend doing this if you are having trouble walking, because I can already move around a lot better (I was limping to wall-greens to get this stuff).
The body should eventually send herpes into its reclusive state. But if the sores cannot heal due to enviormental issues (I.E the goddamn foreskin ((get your kids circumsized!!) you have to stop thinking like a doctor and start thinking like an engineer).
I hope this helps. As of writing this I've been periodically looking down at my junk and it already has become way less inflamed. If anything, I invite the SEARING pain of antibacterial treatment because that pain means bacteria is dying. I don't buy into all the other natural cures unless you have a very mild case. A case like mine requires an aggressive treatment. I've digested enough garlic to wipe out Dracula's entire family.
Give it a go, you don't have much to lose at this point, neither do I.
(PS. I WILL CHECK BACK IN A WEEK AND LET YOU KNOW HOW THIS HAS WORKED FOR ME. IN THE MEANTIME KEEP AN EYE ON GEN-003, WHICH HAS SHOWN VERY VERY IMPRESSIVE RESULTS IN IT'S PHASE II RESULTS. WE NEED TO STAND TOGETHER FOR A CURE, IT'S OUT THERE SOMEWHERE!)
It works for me most of the day with the occasional redo, allowing the lesions to dry out.
