I am a 13 year old girl in puberty and bedwetting also.Like most of the other girls here,i wear cloth diapers and plastic pants to bed every night. I am going to be one of three flowergirls in my cousins wedding on July 30.The other two flowergirls are 6 and 7.We are going to wear white tights with our puffy dresses.Mom had the waist band of a pair of my white plastic pants sewn into the waist band of the tights and told me i will have my bedwetting diapers under them.I told her i dont need my diapers during the daytime,but she said i have to wear them to be cute and like the two little girls! I told her i would wear the tights with the plastic pants sewn in them instead,but she said no,i have to wear the diapers as well.How can i convince her that i dont need the diapers?

Sorry your dealing with bed wetting it's a frustrating problem to have and can be difficult to overcome.
Hopefully you grow out of bed wetting in the near future and with wearing diapers you are doing what is needed to manage the problem the best you can.
The upcoming wedding is a tough deal for you for sure no 13 year old wants to wear a diaper during the day because someone thinks it's cute.
If there is a chance you might have a problem holding your pee during the ceremony which could take a couple of hours then the diapers are understandable and would be better than having an accident.
If your 100% sure you won't have any problems with holding your pee making you wear a diaper because your mom thinks it's cute is so wrong.
Cloth diapers would also mean that you need your mom's help when you go to the bathroom before the ceremony.
A pull up would no doubt be a better option if there is a chance you might have an accident.
If you don't need a diaper during the day and are sure there is no chance of an accident talk to your mom and ask her why she thinks making a teenager wear diaper she doesn't need is cute.
Bed wetting is hard enough for any teenager to deal with and your mom shouldn't add to your stress and worries by doing this.
Not sure if you will win this argument but tell your mom calmly how you feel and how embarrassed you will be if she does this.

Catholic tween and teen girls also wear the ruffled rubberpants under their first communion and white confirmation dresses.
I am 13 and was just confirmed back on june 5.Us girls had to wear white dresses and veils for the ceremony.My diaper under my dress was a size 8 pampers and i had ruffled plastic pants over it.
My neice is 13 and bedwetting in puberty.Like some of the other girls here she wears cloth diapers and plastic pants to bed every night.She had a slumber party this past weekend with 5 of her friends who are also bedwetting in puberty.All six girls were in there diapers and plastic pants with tee shirts as their topd and were running around being silly and all of them had a pacifier they were using! I couldnt believe what i was seeing! Is this ok for bedwetting girls who wear diapers to do this?
In reply to poster above-I have heard of this being done before a couple of times!The two girls were in puberty and bedwetting and wore the cloth diapers and rubberpants to bed everynight.When they had slumber parties,the other girls all wore their diapers and rubberpants also to support the bedwetters.This is what girls do and they all feel a sense of equality and the need to support their bedwetting friend.
I am a girl,16,and started wetting the bed two months ago due to depression over several things,my gramma passed away suddenly,my boyfriend broke up with me,then one of my best friends moved away.I got so depressed i wasnt eating properly and lost weight,etc.then the bedwetting started! My parents told me i was going to start wearing cloth diapers and rubberpants[plasticpants] to bed every night! Mom got several dozen cloth diapers and diaper pins and three dozen pairs of adult size rubberpants.That first night was weird! Mom pinned the diapers on me,then put the loose fitting rubberpants on over them and i felt and looked like a baby.It was hard trying to go to sleep with the diapers and rubberpants on! Now,two months later i am somewhat used to them!
I am a mom and need advice-Our daughter just turned 12 4 months ago and has started puberty and the bedwetting with it.I am using both cloth and disposable diapers on her with rubberpants over them.I put them on her before bedtime.With in the last three weeks she has started sucking on a pacifier while i am diapering her.She told me she took it from our church nursery and that it makes her feel babyish with her diapers and rubberpants on.I realize she is still a little girl yet,but should i let her keep on using the pacifier?
To the mom above-I say keep on letting her use the pacifier.Since she is wearing the cloth diapers and rubberpants to bed every night and feels like a baby,then the pacifier is ok for her.
Our daughter was a puberty bedwetter also from before age 12 to just past 15 and i used cloth diapers and rubberpants on her right to the end.At bedtime,she would take a pacifier out of her bedside table drawer and suck on it while i put the diapers and rubberpants on her.It really did help relax her and helped her to fall asleep faster.She used it right up to the end.
Our daughter is about to turn 12 soon and has started puberty and bedwetting.She has been in cloth diapers and rubberpants for about a month now and she is fine with them.
I am a girl 17,and i babysit for two families with daughters who are in puberty and bedwetting because of it.In the one family the girl is 13 and in the other family the girl is 12. They both wear cloth diapers and rubberpants to bed every night and at bedtime i have to put their diapers and rubberpants on them.
Our daughter is 13 and bedwetting in puberty also.She wears the cloth diapers and rubberpants to bed at night as well.All of her rubberpants are the pull on kind and i have been thinking about trying snap on rubberpants on her.Is anyone here familiar with snap on rubberpants that can tell me if they work or not?
To poster on 02-10-2023-Yes the snap on rubberpants do work the same as the pull on kind,but the draw backs are it is more time consumming snapping together the snaps and then when the daughter rolls over in bed,the snaps can come undone.My daughter is 14 and has two pair of the snap on rubberpants,but i dont use them on her over her bedwetting diapers,only her pull on kind.She was in a wedding back in december and i used a pair of the snap on rubberpants on her over her diapers under her dress for the day with out any problems.I would say,forget the snap on rubberpants and continue on using the pull on kind.
I found that by letting my daughter put her own rubber pants on made her feel better about having diapers and rubber pants on for her bedwetting. So after the diapers are pinned she hops off the bed goes to her dresser and chooses a pair of rubber pants and steps into them and pulls them up over the diapers and so with that done she can go to bed whenever she wants, says it's kind of like pulling on her daytime panties. She seemed happier when I started letting her do this.
