i had a hernia repair surgery laprascopoly on 9/1/2009 and 2 days after surgery i was airlifted by helicopter to westchester
the surgeon had made 2 holes in my bladder.they sent me home with catherer for 1 month and its been more than 1 year and i have constant problems with my bladder,i was put on detrol by 1 urologist becaspasmause he said i was getting bladder spasms now i went to see urologist2 because i told the other urologist i was having trouble urinating and he said take the detrol and ill see you in 6 months thats what brought me to urologist 2 i had ordered a bladder sonogram and i had it faxed to the new urologist he said i wasnt emptying my bladder completly i went from 145 to 155 and i couldnt understand why my face was so skinny but my body was filling up with fluid.anyway urologist 2 did a cystcopoy and also filled my bladder with 1200 cc of saline fluid and i didnt even feel it.prior to the test on my first visit he sent me home with catherer for 5 days and than he did the cystcopy.he said iter that i doubled over wit would have to catherize every night before bedtime and i have nerve damage on my right 22 years and i tried to catherize couldnt do it so my daughterinlaw who is a rn came and did it and right after that i doubled over with pain and have been bad since thursday last week .i had noticed when the urologist did the cytscopy i saw these bumps on my bladder and asked what are those bumps and the nurse replied thats from the catherer being in your bladder 5 days i dont belive this is true and needed some one else opinion.im a 56 year old woman and i have been thru 32 surgeries fed up.i think the bumps are from the surgeon making holes in bladder or scar tissue obstructing bladder from properly emptying??anybody please help!!
