sounds like celiac sprue disease, your body is not liking that FIBER you're eating!!! Test for it is a simple blood test now, although it can come back a false negative while you're still having symptoms and it goes undiagnosed and can result in passing extreme gas, gas pains, joint pains, blood not visible or visible because you develop colon problems ...doctors should check that first but they don't! It's maddening!!! Even if you cut out what you think is wheat, you need to do MORE, cut out rye and barley, oats and even dairy (only for 5 days) then go back on the dairy ....to allow the intestines to heal. But remain gluten (wheat, rye, barley and grain free) for life. That doesn't mean you can just simply do that. You NEED a nutritionist to give you all the names and chemical product names that are used in place of the term wheat or gluten,. For example: vegetable protein, or modified food starch....these are only TWO terms of hundreds that you will need to know to label read. It's gotten better, but companies hide the wheat gluten in alternative names.
It's called a gastroenterologist. These signs are of colon cancer, twisted bowel, but sounds more like gluten intolerance. LOL
Nice post, but they don't tell you that ulcerative colitis or irritable bowel disease (IBS) stems from usually a food allergy. Just because they did a celiac sprue test, those usually come back a false positive (if they did a blood one). If they actually took a colon biopy of various areas in the colon that was not infected, and checked it under a microscope to see if there are actually vili, then that's the proper test for celic sprue, but it sounds like they tested the damaged portions which would not be appropriate for the celiac sprue test. Try eating only fresh fruit, veggies and meats (not mixes, processed, coated, frozen) just fresh as they are made off the tree or farm. To check if you the bleeding stops after a week. You have to stay away from all milk products for 5 days while doing this to check. Then re-introduce the milk products, as you do need that in your diet. If you begin having cramps, blood and all that once more, you will KNOW it!
celiac sprue disease
Thank u so much ! Yes this was very helpful and I will be making a doctor's apt
I first tried to quit smoking using Zyban in around 2007/8, my body flared up with patches of itchy areas and I soon got dermatitis on my hands of which has never gone away, my hands are constantly flaring up with painful tiny blisters which turn to a dry crusty skin on the palms of my hands, I still have this early 10 years later. I use a quarter zone creme regularly to keep this under control. Later I took champix twice, it was about 2 years apart, each time I got anal fistulas and had never had them before. I was then later diagnosed with UC for which I now take Solafolk to help keep under control. I also have been prescribed cholesterol medication which also came about around the same period. I am a male, now 42 and I am totally now reliant on prescription medicine which sucks and is expensive, I still want to smoke but resist by sucking on nicotine lozenges made by Amcal which I also hope don't cause some other problem. Maybe I should have just kept smoking ....
I have these too and i am only 28 and scared to death i have it.
I have the same symptoms. What was the treatment, have you been able to cure self??
