I found your comment very similar to the very rare episodes I have. I literally shake and it starts like a normal BM and then looser as it goes on. I sweat. I shake and struggle to talk or breath and i know that as soon as im finished my body will need to reboot by going to sleep instantly. Sometimes on the bathroom floor. BUT its rare (never used to be, I lost over a stone at one point due to it) its rare because i have been dairy free for about 2 years now. I had this pain last night and I think it was due to the small amount of cream on a carrot cake slice I ate. Even the smallest amount does it to me now. I agree for anybody to try cutting out dairy... it changed my life and just isnt worth the pain.
I also have these symptoms. HORRIBLE!
The problem could be dehydration mixed with a high carb diet or highly acidic diet. Diet is the biggest and possibly the only cause with this issue. This happened to me last night. I am still unpacking my apartment so all i ate was cereal (corn flakes), a burger king sandwich meal (in which i didn't finish the
That would be Gallbladder*
Did you ever get a diagnosis? I too am suffering exactly like you and I'm scared to see a dr. I'm 33 yrs old and these episodes began after my 3rd child in 2015. Thank you

But, i been reading everyones post. I am afraid because else seems to only get these a couple of times a year? I am getting these everytime i have to have a bm.. I cant function as a normal person anymore. I am so weak and so hungry but i too afraid to eat! Too afraid to go for help.. Sorry to sound so pathic!!!#
It may be gallbladder for some, but I've had mine out for 10 yrs & still get all these symptoms maybe 2x a month. It's like labor. Abdominal contractions every minute, fear of passing out or throwing up, worse every time you try to just friggin push. Yeah, it's a hard diagnosis due to so many symptoms. Today I actually held a dish rag in my mouth so I could bite down when the pain came, did Lamaze breathing, & in the middle of panicking I took 2 Advil & cupped water with my hands while holding myself up on the sink. I'm sorry we all have this in our lives but it's nice to know we have a group to talk to.
Unfortunately I have these issues cramping , then severe pain then sweat dripping

I have suffered several years having all the same issues! I too, went to so many doctors and tried everything they'd recommend which was every over the counter product from Metamucil, stool softeners and just about every laxutive or other suggestions.
One day I was grocery shopping and met a gastrointestinal nurse and I actually told her my issues as I was shopping for yogurt and hadnt been able to get any movement for a few WEEKS!
She marched me over to the Vitamin isle and told me to buy: magnesium citrate. ONLY THAT NAME! It must be the citrate. I was willing to try anything. She told me never ever TAKE FIBER SUPPLEMENTS if you have issues like this because it actually is worse. She said foods high in fiber such as beans which I always assumed help aid movement but for those with IBS, diverticulitis and other intestinal problems, it Works the opposite.
Every morning she said take 2 pills with water on an empty stomach. It's important to stay active (upright walking around not sitting or lying) and within 20 min it will work!
I was like, yeah right! I hadn't gone in weeks!
Well, it worked and I hope this grocery store conversation helps others!

I have been having this exact thing since I was a little girl. My mom said I would get red in the face and scream and cry. It used to happen all the time, I've slowly grown out of it but it happens every few months now. I just experienced it today which prompted me to look on here. I also get goose bumps, not sure if anyone else does. I've been tested for all allergies had many tests and ovarian cyst removed that was thought to be the cause but wasn't. I am now 23. I find gripping something like the counter helps the pain. I've learned to just get through it and after experiencing it so many times know when its coming and am able to quickly prepare. Many people have said it is IBS but I disagree completely. If anyone ever figures out what this is, please share! I've been waiting many years to know!
This happens to me as well the exact same thing. I feel the urge to have a bowel movement and when I go to the bathroom it is usually a small round hard stoll that leads to soft narrow stoll with the continued urge to go. My body temperature begins to fluctuate and sometime I feel like I may faint after becoming shaky so I spread out on cold bathroom floor
I have the exact same issue! Did you ever get a diagnosis?
I also have these symptoms only my hands go into spasm and don't release until my bowels have emptied completely .. it happened last night the pain was unbearable stomach cramps followed by pins and needles throughout body but last night before my hands went into spasm I passed out on bathroom floor when I came round then my bowels emptied like a tap running .. it's happened to me for about 3 years about 3 times a year mostly in the middle of the night once during the day in a friends house so embarrassing .. I am so relieved people are sharing their stories as I thought it only happens to me .. think it's time I told my GP will let you know what her response is x
I have been told I have IBS and diverticulitis and so on. The past year has been the Worst! Last night was my last straw. I woke up st 330 am with terrible pains. Right away the hot flashes begun so I took Benadryl and still I broke out in hives. I started feeling like I was going to pass out. I passed some of my BM but I had to take off my cloths and lay down. I had to lay down! I passed out. Woke up a few minutes later called for my husband to bring me ice. Got back on the toilet for maybe another 30+ minutes. This time I was vomiting on the floor while I was passing a BM. Thought I was done so I went back to bed. Within seconds rushed back to into the bathroom to pass the rest of my BM which was another 40 minutes. this was the worse pain I have ever felt. And I gave birth to my son naturally without medication! Each time it has gotten worse. Now I'm eating for my GIs office to call me back for an appointment! I can't do this anymore.
Waiting^ Sorry I was typing fast
