I really hope someone can help me out here. So my cycle was exactly 1 week late. When I did start all I've done is brown spotting. It's barely enough for a pad. I've only had red twice and it was in the morning and only when I wipe. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant, so naturally we've used no protection. I have never been on BC. I had some cramping the week before I was due to start (which was 2 weeks ago), but nothing came of that. I have had 0 cramping for this cycle, and it seems as if i'm close to ending. My last cycle was from April 25-30th, is it possible I'm pregnant and this is just implantation bleeding? I took one test but it came back negative. The only symptom I've had of pregnancy is I'm extremely emotional, no achey breasts, nothing. Which is odd cause normally mine are achey throughout my entire period. Any advice would be very helpful! Oh we've also been traveling lately, we flew across the country but I don't know if that would affect it or not.

It is possible that you have experienced some implantation bleeding. Since having 2 kids my periods always start like this, sometimes for up to 3 days before I get any red blood.
In this day and age tests are very reliable but are still able to give a false negative.

I had the same thing happen. April 30th I had a normal menstrual and then May 28 (when I was suppose to start again) I had nothing but brown discharge for 4-5 days (no pad needed) then it stopped. I don't have any irregular systems, I live with heartburn my whole life so that hasn't change and tired all the time is normal for me. Its June 19 and I haven't taken a pg test but I am thinking I should after reading all of these post about the same thing. SMART did you take a test? Just curious I don't want to get my hopes up an it come negative like always. :-)
