Ok, when I started started shaving my pubic area a while ago when I was 12 or 13 I started getting ingrown hair. I wasn't very smart back then so I did the only thing I thought of and that was try plucking it. But when it was to deep in the skin I would try to use a safety pin to get it out. (Don't make fun of me I was young) It worked, but messy, and now it left a big nasty BUMP-like scar on my mid pubic area. It's been there for like a year. AND IT WONT GO AWAY. I wished I knew more back then on getting rid of ingrown hairs (I don't pluck or use safety pins now) How to I get rid of this unattractive scar????
Please help!
Since the bump hasn't gone away, it's quite possible that the hair still remained ingrown under layer of skin so that's why the scar still hasn't gone away. And it probably won't go away unless you put some work to it - first you have to soften up and slowly exfoliate the damaged skin that is on top of the scar. That you can do by applying warmish compress on the scar for a few days so that skin would soften up and only then if you see any change you can try to scrub the dead skin off.
