Hi. I'm 25 year old male and I'm in cycling business almost whole my life. I'm driving my bicycle at least two hours almost every day and I'm feeling great.
Still, there is one thing that’s bothering me.
I've decided to do something about these small lumps on my testicles.
I have first time noticed them about three years ago but did nothing about it. What can I say about it- they are whitish, hard on touch, painless and covering my whole testicle. I have talk with one man about it and he told they could be some small calcium deposits in my testicles. Is this true! How should I remove them?

Hello. I was very surprised when I read your post because I have never heard about such thing as calcium in testicles.
Anyway, I was reading a lot these lat couple of days and I have found that it is really possible and that you, because practicing cycling everyday, are in great risk to develop this condition.
Supposedly, calcium deposits in the testicles in most cases result from repeated chronic microtraumatization of the scrotum. Cycling could definitely cause these micro traumas and damaging small blood vessels inside the testicles. I suggest you to contact your doctor over this because I don’t see any other was to remove them accept with some small excision operation!

Hey there, I am an avid cyclist as well, I bike probably at least 2 hours a day and this sport does put A LOT of stress on the testicles. I too just went to get an ultrasound on my testicles and it was determined that I had small calcium lumps on my right testicle. He said it was harmless, but it does cause some pain, so I don't worry about it. You should be fine with it, and there is no need to remove the deposits.

Yes it can be that however you need to have them checked out at once! I can't stress that enought!!! This is your life were talking about.

You need to have an ultrasound to find out what is really going on. I don't mean to scare you butu I know of a person who was told that the lump in hir testicle was more than likely calcium and when the ultrsound came back it showed cancer. The cancer was growing from the inside out and had not yet made a big lump or any pains to him.

I wish you the best but please do nat wait on things like this, chemo and radiaiton suck not to mention surgery.

Take care and keep us posted on your results if you can.

I too have one of these lumps attached to my left testicle.

I found it around 8 weeks ago and left it for a few weeks to see if it was something that went and it was still there around 4-5 weeks ago.

My girlfriend phone the doctor for me and i had an emergency apointment that day. After an examination he refered me to Doncaster hospital. On my next examination the doctor told me its a natural structure of my testicle which i remarked "how can it be, I only found the thing 5-6 weeks ago". So he refered me to Ultrasound.

During the Ultrasound the doctor told me its a build up of calcium on the testicle in one of the small pipes.

I watched the screen as he was doing the Ultrasound and there was a bright white object on the screen, with the testicle showing as grey. I have been told that Cancer shows as a shadow on Ultrasound and there was no shadowing.

All i can say is if you find any lump on your testicle have it checked out.

Im only 29 and my local doctor congratulated me for coming in with the lump as men usually dont bother with things related to their genitals. It was slightly embarassing having a few men holding and feeling my nuts but lifes to precious.

I play sunday league football and not a bike for 2 hours so I wonder if this is where my problem roots from.... %-) o.O XD

I just recently found a lump on my right testicle and it was very swollen causing serious pain. The doctor sent me to get an ultrasound done. The results showed that I had an infection that caused a blocked tube that was filled with fluid as well as a calcium deposit. I'm supposed to go see a specialist soon. I wonder if the infection was caused by the deposit?

I get small white deposits on my testicles on a regular basis. I self-extract them with a needle by breaking the skin surface barely at a 45 degree angle and then giving them a little squeeze. A sphere-like round, white nodules comes out ranging in size. I have to do this every couple of months and I've seen a specialist about it and they are perfectly harmless. My only noticeable discomfort is from them itching when exercising or getting sweaty and that's why I extract them. Also, it's kinda fun too in a weird way. It's painless to extract them and they bleed a tiny bit and heal right up.

I have the exact same experience as this person, including the needle and minus the specialist.

I found a few of these little buggers years ago. Progressively over a few years they covered a large area. I had an operation to have them removed, they removed an area of skin from my scrotum which did make it a bit tight, but soon loosened up. Unfortunately there are signs of a few coming back. My girlfriend keeps asking to use a needle but I thought it would be a bad idea. Might give it a try lol.

I found a small lump on my right testicle about two months ago and ignored it. It never went away so I made a visit to my doctor and he doesn't think it is anything serious but scheduled a ultrasound as a precaution. I asked him how could I even worry about cancer at 28? And he said this is very common from 15 to about 35. But it seems most likely that this is a calcium build up. I will write back after my ultrasound scan.

These cyst or califications are call idiopathic scrotal Calcifications/ or calcinousis. I saw a doctor after having them for a few years and got more info from him since there is not much online suprisingly. They are not cause by milk but just some of a small percent of us lucky ones get them. Idiopathic means they do not know where they come from or how to prevent them. I have had some removed by myself and by a doctor. The are not cancerous just very inconveniet. I have read that bicyclers get them as well. I do not bike They just appeared. Now I have a few and they continue to grow back unfrortunatly. There is a few other topics discussing these cyst.

My right testicle was aching. My doc ordered an ultra-sound. He discovered that there were no lumps or masses- which is the most crucial thing to be aware of in detecting cancer; yet, the ultra sound showed a calcium deposit (which looked like a grain of white sand on the picture). This calcium deposit was described to me by my Doc as probably happening due to trauma to that area- whether it happened as a kid riding a bike or playing sports, or sitting hours in a chair for years as a movie editor, etc, but it was the bodies way of trying to deal with the inflammation. As simple as this sounds, it's true: prevention and early detection is the vital. If you wait, you may be putting your life and peace of mind a risk. The best advice I can give is: if you have any concern- go get an ultra sound and discover what is going on so that you can 1) be at peace of mind and know what the real issue is 2) know what steps can be taken to address the issue 3) be reality based

I'm 23 years old, 2 weeks ago I found a small solid mass (lump) on my left testicle. Doc just said he thought it was a calcium deposit. I asked him to order an ultrasound, which he seemed to think was a waste of time. Sitting in ER awaiting the tests. Fun stuff.
