Well this has just happened to me after front teeth filling this morning, immediately after procedure its constant sneezing and runny nose a like a tap turned on and watery eyes..its like the start of a very bad cold coming on.
I had four shots in the front of my mouth under my lip for three crowns and then my nose up to my sinuses were numb and soon after started running and dropping and I now have cold symptoms. It started with constant sneezing and an itchy nose and then the dripping started. Very odd.

Same just happened To me. Exact symptoms.
Same thing happened to me today. 2 shots above my front teeth and I felt a tickling in my right upper nasal passage. I actually sneezed 3 times during the procedure. Now nonstop sneezing and nose running like a bad cold. I just got over Covid 4 weeks ago so no that it's not that.
Going through the same thing as well..Glad to have found out there are others experiencing this, as it helps me to deal with it. Day two and it is about the same.
I was at the dentist yesterday for a partial extraction of a tooth right behind the canine. While the dentist was administering the novocaine, I could feel a squirt go right up to the middle of my nose. When I got home, a half hour later, my nose started running non-stop, I had a severe headache, and my temp was slightly elevated. The symptoms came on so quickly and were severe enough for me to take a covid test. The test was negative, but now it is tomorrow and my nose is still running, though not as much. My headache is diminished and my temp is back to normal. I'm taking a decongestant so my nose doesn't run and drip while I'm at work. I am sure he injected novocaine into my sinus cavity and that is what caused these symptoms.
Having the same issue today. Had injection above upper front left tooth yesterday and it was instant runny nose, watering eye and today sneezing with it. Feels like a cold. Going on 24 hours now.
I had an upper front injection, resulting in instant eye and nose streaming. It didn't stop, and I was totally miserable for 3 days.
This is caused by the nerves very close to the sinus swelling from injection. Ice the area, Thus causes both the nose and eye in the area of injection to run, can be right side, left side or both depending on where injection is placed. it will subside quicker with ice 30 mins on/30 mins off. Don’t worry it’s not an allergy or a cold. Feel better!
This is the second time this happened to me in the past year with two different dentists. The first time I received an injection for a filling on a top tooth. Figured it was the proximity of the injection to the sinus cavity and irritated it. Yesterday was the second time and it was after injections for a filling on the bottom tooth. As soon as he injected the Novocaine, I felt a rush of burning straight up my nose on one side and that eye. Half of my head was numb for a few hours. As soon as I walked out of the office, I began sneezing constantly, nose tickling, itching, and continuously running, and eye persistently watering. It’s been over 12 hours and Afrin and Benadryl have not helped it. Neither dentists have heard of this so I’m glad I found this thread!
oh my gosh, I thought I was the only one. Once the anesthetic wore off, I had the sneezes and runny (did I say runny) nose. It was awful and I was at a meeting and then sneeze. Day 2 today is slightly better. Have a kleenex bunched up again the nose with a mask on to hold it in place. So looking forward to the next dental procedure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Obviously not but it has to be done.
