If even "a small amount of sperm on his fingers" had entered your vagina at a fertile time, then it is possible you could become pregnant (some have testified on this site to that happening to them). The likelihood is much lower with "a small amount of sperm on his fingers" compared with a full ejaculation inside your vagina, but you could only get pregnant if it happened at a fertile time. So:
- What date did the fingering occur?
- What were the start-dates of your last 6 periods (or as many as you know)?
- What date do you expect your next period to start?
- How do you calculate that date?
- What is your usual cycle length (typically 28 days)?
- How long have been having periods?
It is possible to "get pregnant if you have sperm on your finger then touch the lips of your vagina but not insert your finger in" if (1) you are wet, (2) the lips are the inner lips, and (3) it happened at a fertile time.
If your inner lips (labia minora) are not small and you touched the outer edge that is nearer the outer lips (labia majora), then the likelihood is probably very small.
The amount of "sperm on your finger" would make a difference, as would the time between the ejaculation of the sperm and its introduction to your vagina.
It doesn't sound likely you could get pregnant, by the little you have said.
- "I have regular periods" But 28 Oct to 21 Nov = 23 days; 21 Nov to 19 Dec = 28 days; 19 Dec to 19 Jan = 31 days. Earlier dates might have helped.
- What date did this event happen?
- "it hasn’t been the same date" Regular periods would not fall on the same date as months vary in length (28-31 days)
- Your stress has likely altered your cycle.
- "I usually get bloated before and during my period" so your bloating is likely because your period will be coming soon
- You get pregnant when a sperm meets one of your released eggs and fertilises it, and then that fertilised egg gets implanted into your womb a few days later.
- Usually, an egg gets released from a woman's ovary every 'month'. That event is called 'ovulation', and the month is most commonly 28 days long (but does vary from woman to woman). The length of your month can be measured from the first day of one menstrual period to the first day of the next menstrual period. Ovulation usually takes place 14 days before the start of a period.
- Sperm can live inside a woman's body for up to 6 days, so it can fertilise an egg up to 6 days after arriving in her vagina. It waits in a place called the fallopian tubes and is there to fertilise a released egg on Ovulation Day. So a woman is considered fertile on Ovulation day and also the previous 5 days. Her fertile time is during those 6 days.
- Usually, a woman gets pregnant by an ejaculation of semen from the penis that has entered her vagina at a fertile time.
- However, any method of getting sperm into the vagina at a fertile time can result in pregnancy. For some women this is a particular process whereby semen is collected and then placed inside her by trained clinicians. It is called 'Artificial Insemination'.
- The case of pregnancy by fingering occurs when fingers that have semen on them are inserted into the woman's vagina, and so some women have become pregnant without an ejaculation of semen by a penis inside her vagina.
- The chance of pregnancy by fingering is much lower than by sexual intercourse and is generally not necessary for pregnancy to occur.
- This topic has been raised by those who are concerned that they might (inadvertently) become pregnant even though they have not had and ejaculation of semen in their vagina, but have been fingered by hands that have had semen on them.
You need to give much more detail as to what exactly happened.
- From what you have said, you gave him a hand-job and he ejaculated, and then he fingered you. So how could sperm get into your vagina?
- Also, you have not given the date when this happened nor your period history and next expected-period-start-date to ascertain whether it had happened at a fertile time. Can you supply that information?
- Did I understand you correctly when you said, "I do not like guys" yet said, "I met up with this guy and I gave him a hand job and ... he fingered me"?
I gave my bf a bj and he came, a little bit of cum went onto my hair (like a visible drop) so he wiped it away from my hair, i swallowed most of it. den i went to wash my hands and stuff and he put on his pants. around 2 mins later we made out (after i swallowed his cum) and then he fingered me with i think that same finger but we r not sure but i told him to stop after 2 pumps or something bc i got scared. then i thought it was ok for him to eat me out, so he started to do so for abt 5 secs or sth then i told him to stop bc i was scared the sperm was in his mouth and could have traveled to my vagina. His tongue touched my vulva and i think the tip went in but it didnt go rly deep. im paranoid because altho the cum wud have dried when he put on his pants, he wet his fingers with his mouth i think and ya dat finger...
What date did the fingering occur? 3 Feb 2018
What were the start-dates of your last 6 periods (or as many as you know)? My periods r very irregular but anyway:
Around 9th Dec maybe for around 7 days
28 may - 3 june (i didnt get my period for the first half of 2017)
3 - 8 july (36 days since last period)
3 - 8 aug (31 days since last period)
21 - 27 sept (49 days since last period)
23 - 29/30 jan 2018 (124 days since last period)
Fingering happened on 3 feb so its unlikely a fertile day (it was day 9)
What date do you expect your next period to start? This is nearly impossible to calculate but my app thinks i have a 36 day cycle so my period is expected to start on 28th feb
How do you calculate that date? Flo app
What is your usual cycle length (typically 28 days)? Varies way too often
How long have been having periods? Since aug 2013, but i kno in 2014 i only had 2 periods, and the following year i only had 2-4. Even until now i get at most 6 periods a year. i'm a bit underweight, if that helps. ur help n honest opinion is definitely appreciated...
It is very unlikely to have been a fertile time. While there certainly was a risk of some sperm entering your vagina, that risk seems very low. So I do not think there is any risk of pregnancy at all.
You didn't state your age or where you are from (I guess you must be about 17??) but my general advice would be to see a doctor about your periods. It may be that one of your ovaries is not functioning properly, and/or you could have PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).
