hey im 18 years old . and start of the year i discovered i got chalmydia due to catching it through my partner. im just really REALLY panickin now that i might be infertile i know it really stupid b/c we havent started trying but i must of had it for a year and him well god knows maybe years n years. has anyone got pregnant after haviny the diesease for a long period of time???. xx
Hai i had chlmydia for over 2 and a half years when i got pregnant i would have never known i had it if i hadnt got pregnant so its possible.
:( it just shows that u have been with too many different men...u need too be careful i have had it and had too have all m female organs removed thats how messed up i was and it wasn't becuse i was ith a bunch of different men it was because my husband atthe time slept with a girl who had it and then i slept with him and i got it..
i had chlamydia one time and have not have sex sence but i still think i have it or like maybe hiv. I had a partern that lied and told me that he was clean but then i got chlamydia but i dont know from witch partener? But anyway when i masterbate i bleed alittle and have cramps alittle? but i don't want to go to the doctor again. And i don't know how to tell the guy im with to get tested, because we had sex along time ago but after that i found out i have chlamydia. We are going to get married and start a family soon. but i don't want him to think i am a ***edited by moderator*** ** inappropriate posting**?

I have had Chlamydia before but i didn't know until my mom took me and i had sex with this guy in april, and went to go get checked in sep. so that's about 6months could that be the reason why i can't get pregnant?
I've been there my unfaithful ex-boyfriend at the time gave it to me. Luckily I only had for three months and didn't know.I kicked him way over to the curb and for about a year I didn't date anyone else because I needed time to myself.(My situation had been cured and eveything was and still is fine). I later met the love of my life and I made sure to tell him about my past situation. I even told him that it may be difficult for me to have children. But I believe if you've been treated than YES it's VERY POSSIBLE since I AM THREE MONTHS PREGNANT NOW.I'm FINE my BABY IS DOING EXCELLENT ;-) . I say to everyone who's having a hard time trying to concieve don't doubt it I am proof that it is possible to have a healthy pregnancy after CURING chlamydia
:-) hi i read this site before i decided to try for children as i contracted chlamydia and had it for over a year before i knew about it.i was very worried that i was going to be infertile and my doctor told me that scarring may happen but you normally get signs heavy painful irregular periods.it is a constant worry that you may not be able to have children but i'm happy to say i have just found out i'm pregnant about 5 weeks pregnant and it look me a month to fall pregnant so i just wanted to post this to reassure people that you can still get pregnant after having chlamydia and i know other people who have had this and gone on to have families.good luck everyone :-D
I know I am posting a year late but I have some insight on the subject. A doctor is able to write two prescriptions for both the patient and their partner without the partner visiting the doctor. This was done for myself and my partner. I too am scared that my early instance of Chlamydia may be the reason I cannot get pregnant now. I contracted it from a BF when I was 21 and had it treated about 6 months later when my doctor did a STD screening. A few days after contracting it, I got really sick and had a terrible fever which I went to the doctor for and they could not figure out what was wrong with me. The fever passed and the doctor assumed I had some random virus that cleared on it's own. I donated eggs about 6 to 8 months later and that is when it was discovered. Other than the original fever at onset, I never had any symptoms. We were both treated and I successfully donated eggs twice. I am now 27 years old, and my husband and I are trying to get pregnant. We have been actively trying for two cycles. Just found out today I am not pregnant when I started my period....always wonderful.... I am scheduling a HSG in two weeks to check for any blockages. The doctor says that 50% of women that have an HSG get pregnant right after. That is due to the fact that if there are any blockages, the dye they push into the uterus and fallopian tubes pushes it out. Two days after the procedure she says SEX, SEX, SEX. The worst part is that I have been pregnant when I was 16 and had an abortion which will bother me for the rest of my life. It was at a clinic and he only gave me a pill to numb me. I was awake and felt everything. Worst experience of my life. I felt butchered. My husband was the father then so I know he is fertile. If there are any problems, it is me. He has never contracted an STD. I have always had very painful periods since I was 13. I will keep pushing forward and hopefully have more useful information in the weeks to come.

i found out when i was 16 that i had chlamydia from the first guy i was with. i have been having unprotected sex sense them i am now 20...my bf wants kids in the worst way but it seems not matter what we do i cant seem to get pregnant..could this be related to me previously having chlamydia? please help me :-( :-(
Hi Ive heard everyone saying they couldnt become pregnant after having chlamydia. Well, I HAD it once about 3 yrs. ago and I didnt find out until about 5 months after. I became pregnant but miscarried after 8 weeks. So I hope this gives you guys a little hope and keep praying :-) EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON..so if its meant to be, it will happen...GOOD LUCK!
I'm five weeks pregnant and i found out i had Chlamydia. I got treated with antibiotics but i've been deciding weather i want to keep baby or have a termination. But i'm scared i've i don't have this baby i may not ever get pregnant again in the future as i heard if you have had chlamydia in the past it can get hard to get pregnant. Is this true?
