as with any drug there will be a possibilty of something to happen. thats why they do drug studies. any time a "Life" is involved we need to realise its a brand new cycle and we dont know one damn thing about that, except to have respect for yourself and take care of you to give a chance to that " little life" in you'', so that life has a chance to make a choice of their own ! there still need be alot of studies for marijuana as with any other drug, so we as human beings need to be responsible with oneself and the unborn...........
your an id**t when you smoke while pregnant it doesnt affect the baby the same way as you a dr. will tell you that smoking causes misscarriages stillbirth and early labor and a smaller baby but never does the smoke get to ur baby the lounges are only affected by their growth ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO GIVE UR UNBORN BABY CANCER! f*****g id**t
I smoked weed my first pregnancy and my kid is perfectly normal and smart as f**k. smoking weed & im pregnant again i beleive it doesnt harm the baby. lots of kids wuld be dead or mentally disabled in the 70's or 60's . hmmm
It's not going to cause miscarriages across the board, so of course there were a lot of successful pregnancies in the 60's and 70's, the idea is that it is slightly harmful to the fetus. It mildly lowers the oxygen level to the fetus, which isnt catastrophic, but it's not ideal.
I have no scientific evidence, but my hypothesis about marijuana and pregnancy is that every situation is slightly different, i know mothers who smoked every day during pregnancy and their baby is fine, but it doesn't necessarily mean that someone else should do that. People all have different hormone responses to smoking pot, some people get huge spikes in dopamine when they smoke and some not as much, and so on with many different brain hormones, who knows, maybe for one individual a particular spike in a particular hormone could effect an early fetus in an adverse way.
I guess its a personal choice, but when i have kids, the mother is definitely not going to smoke anything, that's just my take on it
i just had many first miscarriage and find out that my husband was smoking marijuana and cigar you think that could be the reason for my miscarriage please help I had 2 healthy pregnancy before.
I'm sorry you lost a child, being the mother of an angel myself, but you can not blame a miscarriage on delayed second hand contact to a weed smoker. You could have been allergic to a number of things this woman had on her such as perfume or lotion. You also would have a heightened since of smell and hormones all at once making you both physically sensitive and emotionally excitable. I understand your need to blame something but that can't be it. It just doesn't make sense.
Ridiculous. You did not have a miscarriage because someone around you smokes pot. Miscarriages happen every 1 in 5 pregnancies and usually a result of the fetus not developing properly. I encourage you to do your research before calling women who use pot (for whatever reason) selfish. I have a beautiful 10 month old healthy baby boy whom I smoked marijuana with during my entire pregnancy for stress, anxiety, nausea and a sleep aid.
Your miscarriage had nothing to do with being around a woman that smokes weed. That's honestly the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard and I can not believe an adult woman with so many other children would assume something so ridiculous
Cigarettes kill people because of the extra chemicals they add to them not just because of tobacco, gets your facts straight! Wow
Tobacco has 7000, chemicals added to it, its not natural dumbass.
Right? Like we are supposed to just believe Tim from the internet..
My fertility specialist told us that anxiety/depression are worse for baby than occasional marijuana use. And not all meds are safe. Mom needs to be chill. So one toke here and there may actually protect a pregnancy. Please research birth rates and size of newborns in Jamaica. They're finding that pot babies are actually more socially advanced as toddlers. Stop the hate. Marijuana is a natural herb with so many wonderful medicinal uses. Choosing between big pharm SSRI's and a natural herb...I'll take the herb, thanks.
